TV: what have you been watching?
I think The Walking Dead may be the best drama thats currently airing/in production.

100% agree. And I guestimate that The Sopranos ending actually helped integrate into acceptance with the general audience open-ended finales. And perhaps many that criticized it at the time, have since warmed up to it. It was nonetheless polarizing at the time though.
+1 to the Sopranos ending. Maybe naysayers wanted a more typical gangster shootout scene with a clear conclusion.
The Leftovers is probably my favorite finale.
Just found out Pat Sajak is retiring from Wheel of Fortune and his last episode will be on June 7th.
End of an era.

For some people, these game show hosts are like friends or family.
I give him credit for putting up with those contestants over the years. I'd be telling them to stop acting like idiots.

He and I have a mutual friend and I had lunch with Pat about 10 years ago. He basically said the same thing, didn't take himself seriously at all, super nice, humble guy. Told me that he and Vanna, more than once, would have a few margaritas before filming
Has anyone ever watched non-UK Taskmaster? I keep getting them in my recommended but not sure if they'd be any good.

Anyone watch The Acolyte yet? On a scale of Andor (best) to The Phantom Menace (worst), where does it rank on the Star Wars scale?
Just finished Bodkin. It's good. Got through a few episodes of Eric but couldn't finish it.
Also watching the third season of The Outlaws. It's a British show about a bunch of miscreants who are assigned community service. Excellent.

Little late to the party, but I really like Sajak. He has a way of toeing the snarky dick line without going over. He really does have a good sense of humor and quick wit.
WoF was on at some bar the other night, first time I'd seen it in forever. Always thought he did a great job and also have heard he's a very nice, humble man.

they removed all the best parts of the movie and it's just laughably bad.

I liked The Americans too; no doubt it's an elite show but they lost me toward the last. I think I even skipped the last season.
i stopped watching it once they began involving the daughter, no idea what season that was but i saw a few in a row that i thought were duds and just decided no more
