Please join me for the ride!
Trip Moto - Run Hot in Bagging Chips like DogFace!!!
Enjoyed the previous incarnations, I'm in! Good luck, safe travels.
Run well, write well!
May the turtle bring you infinite luck this summer!
Looking forward to it!!

Just curious...what's the going rate for an occasional BJ in Vegas these days? 😀
Depends on whether you're the giver or receiver...
Get your minds out of the gutter! 😀
All the abbreviations need to be translated accordingly within the context.
Will make sure to not abbreviate it next time.
So many choices, so little time!
Remember slow and steady wins the race.
Bankroll:
Grow money grow!
Howdy! Are you in “High Spirits 4 WSOP?”
Yes I am!
But don’t want to tell them the same, might charge me for that as well.
Let us take that first step in these!
Massive Dad vibes. Incredible!
If you Google Dad Shoes, first image to come up is white new balance.
Maybe you were being sarcastic.
Regardless, I’m a fan. Not hating. Just having fun over here.
Not at all. Not being sarcastic.
I used to like their previous version. They started this new line.
Arrived a few minutes early. Spirit Airlines was playing the Russian roulette game for their bonus miles. A tray table with a yellow sticker wins enough miles for a one way trip. It was not us.
AirBNB was nice. It is a 10 min walk to the bus stop that takes us to Paris directly. It is right across to a Walmart Super Center. I guess we cannot ask for anything more!
white NB have graduated to Grandad shoes these days IMO.
have fun and run well OP
Shorter Version for the recap:
Day 1
Three strikes and we were out for the day.
2 Strikes at Nugget and one at MGM.
Got only one bounty at MGM Double Green Chip.
Day 2
Mystery Millions - got down to 12.3K pretty quickly and built it back to 37K. I was out by end of L7.
Went to Nugget and finished in the money. But, no bag!
After bubble limped with AJos. One caller, BB goes AI for 35.5K, I call (questionable). Didn’t think there would be a call from the limper at 3/6/6K (otherwise would have gone AI myself).
Instead of calling he opted to shove. Another 50K for me. Just witnessed a play where a player limped with K’s and snapped off an AI. Opted to fold.
Hero: AJos Shorty: AJos Limper: JhQh
Shorty triples and Limper is left with 45K.
Next hand on my BB (Ad10d) same guy shoves and SB calls. I shove for the same amount.
Hero: Ad10d Limper: K6os SB:A7os
F:345 2 diamonds T:5 R: K
Just like that we are out of the door for a min cash of $400.
Tomorrow is Day 3. I will probably take another shot at the Mystery!
By the way hit a high hand before the start of the tournament at HorseShoe 1/3 game.
A’s full of 6’s. Got $50. Had to chase down the floor as I was getting late for my tournament.
Pretty tired, so, will provide detailed hands later. Including a cash game hand where we chickened out on a AK39 board with three club cards.
V flashes Ac9d for a smartly played two pair on turn.
Feeling and doing much better today in the mystery!
Our trip report name sake has made an appearance.
L6, MP opens 1800, I re pop 6500, he re pops 16800, well if you have A’s GG sir!
I ship it, he tanks, which is a good thing and folds!
The peanuts from Nugget yesterday!

That's a much fancier pay slip than WSOP uses, which is like something you would expect from a jr high tournament.
$300 entry?
$250 BI 250K Multi-flight event.
This is what happened in Mystery event when I went AI with J’s and V snapped with 10’s.
No wait, 10 in the window!
Of course it did. :(
Final tabled Resort World 7PM and was 2/3rd going into FT.
Finished 5th. The worst part is the village idiot at the table made me look like one.
I won zero flips on FT.
As soon as I got eliminated they closed the event with a chop!
Made 1K (peanuts!) compared to 3K+ for first and with a decent chance of making it.
Q’s. There were two AI’s. Had a gut feeling the outcome won’t be good for me and folded. Just a gut feeling!
V1: A10os V2 (VI): AKos Hero: Q’s (folds)
F:KK3
10’s. A 3 bet open followed by an AI. We ran as fast as we could. Raiser folds. V shows Q’s.
8’s. 3 way pot with a shorty.
Me (future VI), VI and Shorty with 8’s, 7’s and 6’s.
F:A73 he bets pot and I get out!
J’s. An AI for 120ish and a snap call by VI. We fold. V1: 9’s VI: AKos Hero: J’s
F:JQ3. Hero starts running towards the restroom to cry!
T:5 Hero gets up!
R:10 The dealer makes the Hero look like a genius! He would have taken us both out!!!
I rest my case.
These were just the pots I folded. The ones I played never got anything going for me other than losing betting chips.

Mark Newhouse (yellow shirt) is not impressed. You should've asked him if he's going to finish 9th.
Sorry that the bounty tourney was harsh to you, but glad you got some back at Nugget and Resorts.
Those are some tight pre-flop folds in the RW event, but looks like your instincts were in tune with the runouts. You were dodging outs like Phil Hellmuth.
He was running like god at our table!
Nice job making a final table!!
