NBA 2024-25 Season Thread
Lettuce NBA!
and lettuce lol @ James Harden
Jrue for Dame and Doc. lol Bucks
kicks ass how the celtics don't even have to play well to win easily. great final
Roy Tarpley ain’t walking through that door
Rolando Blackman ain’t walking through that door
Retired PP could pass for a homeless crackhead
None of this is especially surprising. Boston was better than Dallas all year and they are ideally constructed to defend the Mavs.
Kyrie Irving is 0/8 from three in the series.
He was 41.1% in the regular season. (averaging 3.0/7.3)
A whole week to build up a sweep. Nice.
Jim Spanarkel ain’t walking through that door
Friends, please join me for Game 3 on August 27th.
When does this 3 on 3 women's olympics start
Tatum considers himself MVP quality????
He’s not even the best player on the Celtics!!!
He could win FMVP Tho.
Mavs might have an opening if Porzingis is severely limited
other than that, just too tough to win when 1 team clearly has 5 of the 7 best players
celts didnt even play well tonight, tatum is shooting 31% in the series
kyrie shooting awful too but he just seems owned in halfcourt
On January 20, 2021, Bradley was struck from behind by a motorist while riding his bicycle near his home in St. George, Utah, which resulted in a traumatic spinal cord injury in his neck that left him paralyzed. A driver attempted to pass Bradley on the left in the same travel lane while Bradley himself was in the process of passing another car parked on the shoulder of the road.
In a 2022 interview with Sports Illustrated, Bradley stated that he and his family intend to move into a more wheelchair-friendly home in Dallas, Texas, while he continues his rehabilitation. Bradley described his height as a "hindrance" to his recovery, as quadriplegia at his height has no medical precedent.
jfc :(
vote 4 bike lanes
Porzingis appears to have avoided any serious injury.
Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla said that he had "zero concern" that Porzingis had reaggravated his injury.
"He's good," Mazzulla added during his chat with reporters.
Porzingis also gave a promising update when he held court with reporters after the win
"I feel good. Feeling good. I don't think it's anything serious," he said. "But we'll look at it tomorrow and go from there. But all good. I'll be good."
Ngl espn's/ ABC's coverage is making me want to skip the rest of the series.
I don't remember it being this bad last year.
Doris Burke ain't it. She word salads all over the place. Replace her immediately. Yes everyone involved in the league loves her but she's damaging the product.
Cue the nba on nbc theme.
First person to score 30 for Boston gets it
Tatum is shooting 31%, Brown 55% and Brown much better stocks
Don't think Tatum's boards/assists is enough to overcome that right now
But obviously as series goes on Tatum should be able to narrow that gap enough to where his rebounds/assists give him enough of an edge
hilarious KP was like +700 after gm 1
Does Popovich get a ring too if Celtics win it all?
He basically gifted Derrick White to them.
Mavs might have an opening if Porzingis is severely limited
other than that, just too tough to win when 1 team clearly has 5 of the 7 best players

Yeah boston has 4 guys who give Kyrie fits, Jrue/White/Brown/Tatum.
I smashed with 4! Sgps last night including u31.5 PRA for Kyrie. My only regret is that I didn’t hammer that as a stand alone prop.
