Are the cash table lists as short as they appear?
When I check Bravo, the Aria, etc cash game lists don't seem anywhere near as bad as in years past WSOP's.
True?

Can't speak to Aria, but Bellagio lists appeared much shorter than they were when I was in town earlier this summer because the call-ins weren't showing as waitlist #s, and people have wisened up to calling in and holding their place on the list for 2 hours. So, you'd have like 13 names on the waitlist plus 25 call ins.
yes, specially OFF strip. seems lite'ish

Them sneaky bastids.
Good to hear.
I usually don't play poker in June because of the long lists but I just checked Bravo and Bellagio had 2 people on the list. Is it because it's still early and more players are coming in?

Bellagio doesn't display call ins on Bravo. So, that is probably 2 people there, but 25+ driving in.
Aria has been doing the same thing for a while now (even before the WSOP).
You call in thinking you will be first or second on the list when you show up. Then when you show up you realize that you were behind several call-ins the entire time.
In general, the lists do seem shorter than previous years.
I could have sworn I saw the Bellagio poker room make a twitter post about immediate seating during the week and was confused. (I'm either nuts or they deleted it, but I had also been noticing the same trend as well).
Does anyone know how the WSOP and other tourney series are faring so far this year?
Aria and Wynn are definitely shorter than prior WSOPs.
I'm pretty sure Aria has more tables this year.
To somewhat answer my own question: https://www.legaluspokersites.com/2024-w...
Bellagio, Aria and Wynn all have auxiliary cash tables added so capacity is better than some past summers. If you call in 2 hrs in advance you should not be waiting more than 30 min after check in.
Only time I saw 100+ long lists was when Aria closed down the majority of tables for a tournament.
The Bravo 'Covid' upgrades allow for 'hiding' call-ins from the App .. by game. So they can pick and choose based on what they want to appear. If they have a starter list for a game and want to attract more Players they can show both on-site and call-ins on the App. (Not sure about Poker Atlas App)
I've not been to Vegas yet and most of the guys I know out there are actually entering more tournaments than last year. I've not specifically asked them why, but they are also running deeper this year so that is 'why' they aren't playing cash as much.
I've not really heard on the streams whether or not entries are up or down from last year .. and with the pay scale adjustments you can't just look at the winner's share to asses the entries. GL
I was there last week. I played at Caesars, Horseshoe, and WSOP, and the lists were never long
Looks like the numbers have picked back up this week from my unofficial checking.
