DH2 vs PT4, and opinions about Player X-ray
Looking for opinions on Drive Hud 2 and Poker Tracker 4, because surprisingly, I could not actually find a lot of information out there from the end user comparing the two. I have tried the DH2 free trial, but I am hoping to glean more information from long term users who have passed the honeymoon phase.
Like most people, I do not have unlimited access to money, and I am trying to make an educated purchase with my incredibly limited Poker bankroll. I really love the game, and am kind of a stats nerd, so buying software like this is a no brainer for me, but we are quite blessed with options these days. I want to make the right decision, because I can't really afford to buy more than one program; so even if I am not completely satisfied with what I buy, I will likely end up stuck with it.
I would be so grateful to anybody that is willing to take the time and help me out with this by providing testimony regarding the efficacy of the aforementioned software. I have received so much helpful information here at twoplustwo since I've joined, and I really respect the opinions of the wonderful people I've met here.
I am specifically looking for the following information from people who have utilized either software for at least 6months:
- Customizability, and the amount of trackable stats displayed by HUD
- Accuracy in recording HH and stat tracking (how often do you need to go back and manually edit something, provided you even remember what it actually was)
- Amount of and usefulness of features (in your opinion)
- Value for money (I really hate paying annually for software)
- Appearance (Is it nice to look at?)
- Amount of information/tools that can be used to improve your game, and how that information is presented
- Compatible poker sites (can I still use it to track HH on sites that ban HUDS or do not save HH locally?)
I would also really love to hear from those of you who have used the Player X-ray software addon that you can buy with DH2 (the one that takes notes for you) as well as Leakbuster. I was able to find even less information from the consumer about these two. Everything I read was directly from the company selling them and obviously they are biased. Are the notes provided quality? Is it worth the money? Has it helped your game?
Again, thank you all in advance!
