also, wtf, nobody in the thread has a pee in the hotub issue other than the pooping welshmen?

and garick, was not expecting to see you posting in that dating thread - please make some posts giving helpful tidbits on how to starch and iron your shirts before tucking them in 😀

It would make a welcome change from DHCG porn stories and fingering strat

Never had an urge to go whilst tubbing, rr. Everywhere else in this friggin' world since I turned 65 a few years ago.....

Salt tub ftw

yeah it's a salt tub 😀

c'mon man, if we got him to post a video tutorial of him demonstrating how to fingerbang... that'd be comic gold and i'm low key mad at you that you're not going along with it

it'd be my magnum opus if i can get him to post that - even better than hijacking a live poker stream and getting the commentators to talk about how obese they are for 2 hours

At least drop a link so we can follow along.

Online dating thread in OOT. It’s a fairly grim scene tbh

squid, you two absolutely need to look at biking through europe

Chances of me biking through Europe = exactly zero.

The bike thing is all spc. Its just not my bag. When we go over it will be for gravity fed recreation. Not human powered.

Big day for our girl yesterday. 145 miles on mixed surfaces into a 20+mph headwind with a long never ending climb to finish. She got to the hotel at around 11pm. Crashed. Slept hard. She woke up fully recharged and is fittin to get on with the day.

I'm kinda getting addicted to tracking this race. 13.5 hours yesterday, most of it climbing, into a headwind, or both. I cannot imagine.

Looks like another nasty day of climbing, but perhaps the last?

Everyone in front of spc has said todays climb sux. Its big, long, and gravel. The good news is we live at 7k elevation and she bikes climbs like that every day at home and for some fuct up reason she doesnt mind the climbs much.

We are currently tracking a storm system bearing down on the town where she is spoda stop for the evening. The way out of town is dirt path so if everything goes against spc tomorrow may be a forced rest day. Strat will unfold as the day progresss.

@Garick the dot watching is significantly more addictive than i wouold have imagined

@Garick the dot wat

It snowed at my nearest 14’er last night, and I hear Montana got some two days ago. I was wondering if any of this was affecting her ride. Did she bring the big tire wheel set for the mud and snow?! Imagine carrying extra wheel sets for this entire ride - f that.

Phew…. That’s good to hear. 😃

SPC headed in to a bike shop, or something? Seems to be going the wrong way.

Edit: or maybe GPS was on crack

She spent 2 days outrunning the storm systems and finally got caught in the pinch of the two at the very end. I cant remember the width of her tires but they are quite wide. She brought 1 spare tire which was smart cuz she shredded one in one of the early days. She has either repared or replaced it and is still riding with one extra. Packing for this ride took an insane amt of planning and with limited storage space she was unable to pack much extra stuff. This is another reason why supported riding is so much easier.

I've been in our swim spa pretty much ~every day since getting it ~two years ago. In spite of the olds creeping up on me, I've never had that problem. Fresh water / chlorinated / fairly low temperature (I keep it in the 90s as I don't like it 100+), FWIW.

Gis"checkingforticks"aeuphemism?

you can ride an e-bike or just drive/take the bus to the next stop and then sit in the cafe drinking wine until spc arrives

i think the max legal temp of 104 is not hot enough as I'm used to natural hot springs which are much hotter

Isn't a swim spa different than a hot tub? I thought swim spas were longer and more rectangular than a hot tub and were meant for swimming and fitness?

SPC nearing Sundance, from which the Sundance Kid took his nickname. Devils Tower too. Pretty great scenery. Not so much for riding though, I imagine.

I think basically just the same, but bigger. More room for fitness and large jets for lightly swimming against, but honestly I just use it to chill.

Yea getting out of sundance to the next town is a dirt track and slow going approx 3.5 hrs to go 32 miles and zero servics. If they get rain (which they are spoda) this track will b fuct. SPC has entered race mode and is trying to blast to sundance as fast as she can so she will have enough light left in the day to make the 3.5 hr slog. Shes fine riding at night on pavement or gravel but not on dirt.

apparently if you open a credit card dispute with an online proprietor of cheap knock-off jerseys, they will ban your account 😀

who is they?

dhgate

You missed his point that the use of pronoun was ambiguous. He didn’t understand whether you meant the knockoff manufacturer or the credit card company.

Class dismissed for Donald Sutherland. It was his job.
