Tatum has been under more pressure than almost everyone in the league for the past 5 seasons. Hell he was getting ripped everyday by media and fans in his own city. Maybe only Embiid and Harden have faced the same scrutiny as Tatum. I can’t criticize the guy one bit for going overboard with his celebrations.

He can do what he wants. If he wanted to whip his dick out and tell everyone that ever doubted him to suck it, go for it I guess. If he wants to rattle off a bunch of lines guys have already said, he can do that too.
But the latter is just strange. I'm genuinely interested in how he got to those moments.
I mean, we pretty much all knew the Celts were winning for a month now, so was he in the mirror at home every morning practicing these lines? If you're going to do that, why not just come up with something for yourself. It's bizarre.

When the Celtics put the big 3 together it was exciting. Threadzilla lost its minds over it on here, rightly so imo. The 2010 finals was class, adjusting for the era. Big narratives and a true mud wrestle to decide it all in game 7.
If you want to say that 2004 - 2007 specifically was a bit meh, sure (even then, the 2005 Finals was epic in its own right).
Lakers domination in early 2000s was NOT fun. So really 2 or 3 good seasons/finals in that decade.
