Isildur finished 3rd in the 50k for 1m and now has a huge chip lead going into day 3 (final 6) of the 100k. Glad to see he's doing well. Would be insane to see a return to online cash games.

No need for specifics, but I assume some of these guys are in LV. Would be so dirty if GG gg'd them

i wonder if some of these HS players actually have a 25+ buyin rule for playing these games or if they just have like 5-10 buyins they load onto the site for just that day, cashout and dispense earnings to backers/stakers/etc.

Having even just a minimum of 25 buyins of 40k is 1 million. that's pretty crazy to have on a site nowadays. I could see that very easily being the case on pokerstars mid 2013 when high stakes ran regularly in a bunch of variants and HSDB was tracking $500k+ wins/losses on a daily basis.

But now...man idk, just doesnt feel like a HS reg could sustain that in this day and age in this poker economy.

But what do i know...im just a micro player railing sickos

poker economy

You can hate them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore that high stakes lobbies currently look like this.

that second picture, it shows multiple players at multiple tables right?

That's really great. Hopefully PLO kicks off too

Seems Pokerstars really f'd themselves by implementing those changes a while back. Not too business-savvy

What psychedelics does to a mf

This is what making poker your whole identity and getting soul crushed and losing your bankroll does to a mfer

but the guy won 1.7m in the challenge against Wiktor
and now a 18k ****up loss on his house deposit is a reason for the loss of BR

I forgot Stefan won lol. Was reading the question that made it seem like Wiktor won.

Maybe he only had 10-25% of himself against Wiktor? I'm not sure what his tax situation would look like but if he only netted a couple hundred thousand then a few 10k charges start to add up quick

Guess the real estate business fell through huh
