wsop fomo is real. Had a terrible run last year and the combination of that and the eye watering prices...particularly with weak Aus$...made me think I wouldn't go back again
12 months later I have the bigsadz that I'm not there
I feel like we as a society have failed by simply no longer thinking about Phil Davison from time to time.
Nolo contendere
reasons are required now?
I would like to go back to the beginning of my life and unlaugh at all the unfunny things I laughed at. I'm not necessarily talking about offensive things; I'm just talking about all unfunny things. It's no good for a person to go through life whoring out their laugh.
That’s so funny I forgot to laugh

as if past laughs are something other than captured sound of emotional reaction instead of being inscribed by a judge on permanent record
would you conversely enjoy donating chuckles towards the horror my report card therapy can only hope to expose
A good amount of laughter isn't at "funny things". It's at tension being released from a social setting.
The best comedians know how to build and maintain tension, while releasing it at the right time for their punchlines.
Son is getting married next month. It is an outdoor wedding in a park. Whatever they want.
Here's the thing, it doesn't start until 5pm. What the hell? That seems awfully late to me. Am I out of touch? I'm pretty sure, nobody in the history of mankind has ever started a wedding that late.

I've never done this.
What I have done is occasionally pretended that funny things aren't funny eg when unfortunate, painful or other kinds of mishaps have happened to others....in case I was seen by others to be the cold, heartless **** I actually am.
no more! I am in my 50s and I am a mean **** who laughs when babies fall over, when kids run full pelt into each other and when birds **** on old people

I've been to evening weddings before but that is certainly later than average. I went to a 10am wedding once which felt extremely strange too.
Park wedding is vg if it avoids getting gouged for giant $$ by wedding venue operators. the price of weddings these days is absolutely obscene. As are divorces...as I am sadly learning
