Anyone recommending Michelle Obama for POTUS is just not a serious person.
Sleeping with the POTUS does not qualify you to become POTUS, and it would be the most blatantly pandering nomination in history. It might work because the alternative is Trump, but not because of anything special about Michelle Obama.
You can pick any other warm body to win against Trump, so why not choose someone that can do something for you after Jan 21st in terms of building up some future momentum?
I admit I don't know who sits in the DNC bullpen, but there have to be a million better alternatives than Barrack Obama's bedmate.
Voting for name recognition or loose ties to preexisting office-holders is how we've gotten ourselves into this mess. Break the cycle, people. Find fresh new faces.

the main point is scotus just did a power grab the likes of which we haven't seen in 200 years. the partisan creep into the judiciary and everywhere make this a team sport. you vote the administration.

I don't think people really realize that trump is much harder to beat than is being assumed here. A healthy Biden was a perfect caricature to beat trump - moderate, polite, educated, white, male, experienced, compassionate and so on - and he did beat trump.
When you start comparing other candidates, they fall short real quick in the important states, when you go left, female, minority, you take a hit whether you want to admit it or not.
Newsome would be a fair replacement, but it would certainly be an uphill battle to maintain the votes that Biden was suspected to get in the states that matter. Newsome doesn't perform there and is a bigger underdog than Biden and folks aren't even pissed yet when you circumvent everyone and throw in Newsome as some second string QB when Kamala should have been discussed.
Winning presidential primaries, which is usually what qualifies you for the nomination.
Then winning national elections which is how you become president.
Voters voted in democratic primaries. And Biden run with Harris as his VP in primaries afaik.
If Biden decides to drop, in a normal world where voters preferences matter, Harris should be the candidate.

She graduated from Princeton and received a law degree from harvard and was a top attorney at a prestigious law firm.
She has a lot of other notable experience as well. from wiki

do you need someone to explain what words mean? see my other post as well. it's more than just Trump being a racist dumbass conman that says racist mean tweets that republicans love. it's about the administration and what a trump admin does.
michelle obama is a harvard educated lawyer that has experience working in chicago's city government, was some type of dean of a university and an executive of a university hospital i believe(?). that is far better experience relating to governing a country than inheriting a real estate empire from daddy and being too big to bankrupt yourself.

What part is untrue, i expressed a preference, not a legal rule, how can a preference be "untrue"? IF voters in primaries matter, they voted for a ticket, the head of the ticket drops out, you have the VP nominee right there to take his place.
Moreover the 25th should be used for Biden right now (again, a preference, not a rule, so can't be "untrue"), in which case Harris would be the president immediatly and would run as such

You can do better for CV ofc, but what matters is how many votes you get.
If democrats completly disregard democratic primary voters and so don't pick Harris, they should just pick the person who has the highest chances to beat Trump. I don't know who that person is but it's not SO implausible to think it's Ms. Obama
