Diamond in a Day - CET Total Rewards
Is it still possible to get Diamond in a Day?
I have read about it in the past, just curious.
"A ton" is not quite true, although if you're new you might get quite a lot. Remember, you're not really pushing 150k through the machine, closer to 10% of that.
Before the multipliers I used to get a lot in comps after DIAD. Ironically I ran better back then so the money results were better.

Yeah, it is safe to say that Ceasars (El Dorado) thinks the same of video poker players as it does of regular poker players. It sees them as taking advantage of the system so it cuts rewards.
In my humble opinion, it is easier to get Diamond though poker than video poker nowadays. Especially considering variance. Granted, this assumes regular access to a 34 tier credit per hour poker room which might not always be true for everyone.

There's only one CET casino in my state, and it's a four drive to get there. Poker doesn't even run steady there. As the tread title says, you can make Diamond in a day. With video poker.
I status matched my diamond card at Fontainebleau and they gave me a $100 dining credit
Not sure if this works, or this guy was full of himself - but he would buy into a black jack table - buy in with $3000 in cash - play a hand or 2, and say he had to take a phone call, or smoke a cig - and to watch his chips. They said they can't do that so he would just rack up and cash out. He said he gets offers all the time and free rooms at nice casinos that I know are hard to get.
You have to make sure they credit you buying in for $3000 cash. Not really sure how pit boss stuff works, i've never played any table games, but could be an interesting strategy if you wanna slow walk your way to some decent perks.
Would like to get Diamond for next year. Debating which is better just paying for a founders card or going for DIAD during the 10x multiplier in August.
Founder’s Card is obviously no variance. Is the cheapest way to do get it $395? (F anyone has a code for cheaper, please send)
DIAD seems more fun, plus you will likely earn a ton of room comps. Which method of getting DIAD involves the lowest risk of ruin? I assume slots would be better than VP because you earn TCs faster even if it has the low
If you don't even need it for this year you might want to wait to do it next year. They offer enough multipliers you should be able to get it in Jan or Feb and then you'll have the status for 2025 and 2026.

I’ve never seen the buy-in amount make one lick of difference in the CET properties I play at in Vegas. But considering the lack of consistency in many of their operations, who knows if this will work in some places.
It sounds like a good way to get flagged for suspicious activity. Large buy-in with minimal gaming.

To put it as nicely as possible this guy is completely and utterly full of ****.
Caesars just called to let me know they have suspended my daily drink vouchers, due to not enough gaming.
Those ****ers.
Guess it's time to use up all my remaining comps and say goodbye.
For the record, last year I had something like 157k tier credits. This year I'm 25k tier credits. The bulk of the tier credits come from video poker. The bulk of the video poker was done in Tahoe or Reno. Last year I did have about 50k tier credits in Vegas, because I had a good offer that overlapped with their 10x tier multiplier day.
The vouchers were still there two weeks ago when we stayed at the Horseshoe for two nights. So I guess they just cut them off this month.
Two of the Starbucks locations I frequent at PH have eliminated the diamond priority line due to customer complaints. More benefit diminishment to come, I’m sure.

Is this recent? I went there last week in the main lobby one and they had diamond priority. This was while the other one was under construction.

Do you still have your $10 7* food vouchers?
Looks like they review the drink vouchers beginning of each month. I also get most of my TCs from VP in Reno, and I got drinks cut off in June. I used them one day in May along with minimal gaming ($300 coin in) same day. Tried to use drink vouchers last month and was denied despite about 25 TCs the previous day. Rewards desk said I didn't gamble enough.

That's pretty bad, with 25k tier credits. OTOH they notified you, which is more than they did for many others.

Yes. They completed their minor renovation on the store right near the mall entrance and the priority line is gone. They removed it from the store downstairs in the lobby a few days later.
I’m told they might bring it back for 7-stars. But I don’t care about that.
TBH, I’ve been at both locations during pretty busy times when the main line was dozens deep. I’ve never seen more than 3-4 people in the priority line and it’s usually only 1 or 2. I understand how regular folks might get annoyed, but most are pretty understanding. In Vegas, you pay for perks.

While I agree in theory, in reality I have found that it matters.
I don't play blackjack very often anymore, but occasionally I will. If I play, it is usually at a $15 table where I will vary my bet from $15 to $200. I have found that the bigger my buy in amount, the higher my average bet is rated by the floorperson despite it likely being the same.
Also, floorpeople have discretion when they clock you out from the table. If they are busy/distracted they might not see you leave so they estimate when you left the table. I think the higher the buy in, they will error on the side of giving you extra time.
Again, this is anecdotal evidence from a really small sample size, but I think it matches up with human nature. Floorpeople are going to give higher buy ins more leeway because they think they gamble more. Not absolute, but in general.

How do you know what they rated your average bet as?
In the past you could ask someone at a TR desk a short time after the end of your session. TR desks are going extinct and even though you are supposed to be able to get this info at the cashier cage too, I’ve found it’s like pulling teeth.
If you care about such things, you can, and probably should, always ask the floor what your average bet is before you leave. Just don’t be a dick about it. Floor people are often stretched thin. A lot of the time they will just automatically rate you at the table minimum and not pay close attention. Many times, if you ask them, they will ask you what you think your rating should be. Just give them a realistic number and they will often just give it to you.
If there is an actual disagreement, and you are certain you should be rated higher than what you were, you can seek out a floor or shift manager who will investigate. Do this within a day or two of the session. They will actually go to camera footage to see what your betting average should be. I’ve gotten to know the floor people at most of the properties I play at so it’s rare that I have had to ask for my rating to be fixed. But from time to time I have done it. Again, don’t be a dick. And don’t make a habit of doing this a lot. Only do it if you gamble a lot and an accurate rating is really important to you. If there is a discrepancy, they’ll fix it, but this should be able to be resolved at the table in most cases. Be aware the casino industry suffers from the same stuff as everyone else with under staffing, low morale and poor-training. A little patience and understanding goes a long way.
Lastly, table games like 3-card poker, Mississippi stud, etc tend to have the standard wager and lots of side bets. There are weird formulas that define your average bet based on multiples of the standard wager and side bets. I have no idea why they make it that complicated, but often times floor people aren’t actually trained well on the specifics of every game. And in regard to blackjack and roulette and other straight bet games, if you vary your bets, then your average should be more or less your average, assuming the floor is able to watch you over a length of time. But if you tend to bet a certain consistent amount, and up your bets, even by a lot, every once in a rare while, they are not supposed to credit you for a higher average based on a few random bets.
I may have mentioned this earlier in the thread but I never got my 5,000 tier credit free night offers (at the time I had earned over 15k tc.) When I called up about it It took a while to get someone who wasn't completely clueless and basically I was told the offer isn't guaranteed and i stayed too many nights comped in the last year with not enough action to get them and that they reevaluate every few months. Honestly I burned them pretty bad so whatever. After that when I went to Vegas a few weeks ago I assumed my drinks would be gone but to my surprise they were still there. So really who knows how their wonky system works.
Ask at a Rewards desk or ask the floorperson. You have to be persistent as they will try and blow you off.
Sometimes it was just based off of points earned. The higher buy in sessions seem to earn more points than the lower buy in sessions despite playing a similar amount of time for the same amount.
