Lettuce NBA!
and lettuce lol @ James Harden
Won’t ever happen
The year Steph was out Chase was more or less empty night in night out. There’s no way Lacob et al will stand for that happening by their own choice
Dray is a different story, especially if the dubs do literally nothing to improve their roster this off-season. Probably the only way they’ll be able to move wiggins too
mclovin, is posting mean things about mikal bridges considered a personal attack or basketball commentary?

This is all wayyy too premature but Curry isn't like Kobe at the end where he can't even help a team on a max deal, he still has a lot to give.
if the team just has limited pathways to contention the next 3 years, he's just going to languish away on the 12th seed every year when everyone else has jumped ship to greener pastures?
I dunno, seems unlikely if that ends up being the case but again we'll see
Also, would 2 years on a different team really hurt his Jeter/Kobesque 1 team/1 city legend branding? meh, think that stuff sounds nice until it doesn't.

My impulse is curry retires a warrior in a pretty codependent relationship unless curry explicitly says he wants out. Which I doubt happens. He’s got 4 rings. Leaving to chase a 5th in his final seasons seems like a pointless look. Curry has just been so image conscious that demanding to leave does nothing but hurt his brand considering it’s ultimately to no end or purpose
Similarly he is absolutely revered over here. The dubs would never have the balls to trade the best player in franchise history, the guy who fills the house and the guy who built the chase center
Looks like Klay is gone. Pretty much cements the necessity to keep curry at all costs

ehh, if the team sucks and curry can net GS assets rather than fade away then he is helping them even after he is done playing. Easy to spin that stuff. And given what Mikal Bridges just got traded for, you can see why GS might be interested in that even.
Agree a 5th ring is pretty w/e for him, but so is spending your last 3 years on 37 win purgatory teams.
Who knows, maybe Kuminga/Podz will make leaps and the conversation is moot.
Okay that was really funny.
when the deal happened, i texted my friend knicks got bridges and he said back the 1 that beats his girl or the good 1?

the 1 who beats his girl is actually kinda good.
Thing is with the new CBA you really cant stack huge stars (just look at what's happening in PHX) cuz you cant fill out your roster and you're kinda ****ed if one starts sucking (cough cough Beal) or one has to miss significant time to injury.
So Knicks paying a premium in picks for Mikal Bridges who people say "Oh but he's just a role player LOL KNICKS". He's not just a role player, he's a SUPER role player who doesn't need the ball in his hands to be most effective. Bridges shot 38.5 percent on catch-and-shoot threes -- a solid number that should improve with more spacing and better looks. Let's also talk about the fantastic fit he has on this roster and the already built-in championship level chemistry he has with the NOVA boys.
Nearly every team wanted him on their roster, which is another reason the Knicks had to *overpay* to get him. On the Knicks he's the #3 option where he will plug/play on offense and provide excellent defense. Throw in the fact that he doesn't miss games and matches up amazingly well with the Celtics wing duo of Tatum/Brown and that's just gravy on top of a great trade made.
I'll leave McLovin to fight you Knick haters off this next year...
Haaa... it'll be a constant hard battle for you McLovin, BUT we both know that they are gonna win the chip this year and be the next dynasty in the league.
Tootles to the thread.
Magic gonna get PG and Klay a few years too late.
This is the best take. PG to Orlando makes them a lot more fun AND Philly will blow their brains out after missing OG, PG, and everyone else.
If he goes to Philly, they're just really good which is kinda boring.
Bickerstaff to DET. Cool, have fun
I mean is Larry brown still alive? Can’t possibly be a worse option than this shitshow
Knicks being 2nd on power rankings feels high cause I look at them as a glass cannon.
LOL Sixers. I hope you get NOTHING you battery throwing pieces of **** fans.
KCP to Magic 3Y/66M.
Philly seems like a decent fav to land PG. Kangz trying to get Ingram apparently. ORL lands KCP
