His fit with Luka should be pretty good as long as he, you know, doesn't go 0-14 from the field in a critical playoff game.

maxey-EG-oubre-PG-embiid

not bad so far if podcast P is going there

the EG, oubre deals good values

I respect Oubre's game. High intensity, great motor, tenacious and long defender.

Philly gives Podcast P his 4 years he wanted.. $212M.

Now let's see who plays more regular season games, OG or PG lol.

triple post!

Now Philly will struggle to build out a roster around Embiid/PG/Maxey. PG ain't getting any younger + he/embiid have major injury issues. They're following the PHX Big 3 "**** it" model.

Meanwhile the Knicks are emphasizing and doubling down on their Team Fit and Culture model.

SA getting CP3 is a great get.

Podcast P will be 35 in the playoffs next year, Embiid is never healthy in the playoffs every year

feels like it probably wont work but on paper thats a sick big 3 and after the simmons + harden fiascos thats all you can ask, the process era should probably be dead already and ballmer gave it 1 last gasp

wtf is LAC doing not just giving Podcast P the 4th year? They're already so pot committed with these guys. Guess we'll see what they do.

Good for the league though, another potential contender in the east and the LAC thing had just run its course. Hopefully Kawhi gets dealt next.

I concur. Great mentor and hes good for 24 mins a night to run the show.

Lol watch Kawhi get traded to Toronto again. That would be some full circle ****.

NBA shoulda skipped the playoffs which were god awful...

Clippers literally the only team in the past five years to just let the guy walk instead of getting at least something out of a sign and trade.

So dumb man. Once Bridges went to the Knicks you knew Philly was auto offering the max. At least get like buddy hield back or something jeez.

Shoulda just agreed w Warriors and got Kuminga.

Lol Philadelphia P-dom. Odds of Embiid getting to the 2nd round probably didn't improve all that much honestly.

Embiid-PG-Maxey should be good, but them playing a full series in the playoffs let alone more seems unlikely

DJJ switched agents a few days ago, per Union rules there's a 15 day waiting period so that kinda wrecked DAL's timeline.

Regardingly the bolded, DAL is reportedly after Klay

I’ve heard this too. But why was he able to sign a deal with clippers during the waiting period. Why would that not affect them but it affected Dallas?

I don't believe he is able to sign with the clips for that time period either. The difference is that the clips aren't really trying to do much else, so they don't care, whereas the Macs are making other moves (see: Klay) so they can't wait for the actual signing of a deal.

As someone that knows absolutely **** all about basketball, the NBA, contracts or whatever but has a passing interest in the game, please can someone explain in relatively simple terms, how do the 76ers justify giving what appears to be a rather large, long contract to someone aged 34 who is likely to be past his best in a sport where athletic ability appears to be incredibly important?

Money needs to be spent + you just have to maximize your window with Embiid over the next couple years even if year 3/4 is likely going to be bad for PG. Also the cap will have gone up by then so I frankly don't mind it

Thanks Cina.

Hartenstein to OKC, no ones beating them in the west

Hartenstein to OKC, no ones beating them in the west

Great pickup for them considering they needed that. I do feel like they still lack a bit of shot-creation (even more so with Hayward & Giddey departing) though unless JDub is ready to take on that role (but he did not live up to expectations in the playoffs)

3/87 for a guy who’s going to play 25 min a game. And it’s a good deal!!

Guys who maxed out like two years ago gonna get grumpy real fast.

Predicting Tobias Harris to OKC on a MLE type one year rebuild value deal?

D. White 4/126 extention. Seems about white for one of the best glue guys in the league

When John Henry and Co. were buying the Penguins, they talked about wanting to purchase an NBA team. Let’s hope that does not happen
