Jmitchell42 should be demodded and banned
he's not a good faith poster, all he does now is prey upon the down and out posters
just look at his posting history
his last 15 posts are all in the new jbouton thread - mostly deeply insulting, calling him mentally ill, calling him a "****ing loon" etc etc
he's not posting in good faith and clearly just trolling the guy
he didn't post for 2 months prior to that, basically just didn't post at all while bouton was serving a temp ban
posted literally only once in the last several months of posts in a non jbouton thread
again, more of the same, generally dickish and dismissive posting that calls him mentally ill
in order to find a post he made not trolling a specific user, of jbouton we need to go back several months
but no, this is not him being part of the community, it's a new victim, and no surprise at all, it's another down on his luck poster
that thread takes his attention for a while - he does take a brief moment to stop being a vile person to make a normal post, but alas he does it just to gloat and talk about how much fun he's having in the dumpster fire
he's been exhibiting this behavior as long as i've known him
he should not be a mod, his only purpose for coming to this site is to troll on those who are already on the outs/on thin ice and thus can't really fight back nor be taken seriously when they lodge a complaint against him
he's an absolutely vile person who contributes nothing to 2p2, he should be permabanned, but i'll settle for him be stripped of mod priviledges

i see 2p2 is acting like the catholic church, instead of removing the pedophile priests, they just physically separate them from the victims and figure they learned their lesson and won't offend again

in all seriousness, we have a mod who has made about 50 post in the last 5 months and all but one were actively trolling a specific user and that one post was celebrating how much fun he was having trolling that user

because it's not, he literally tried to permaban me earlier in the year because i called him a terrible person and 3-4 times asked him to stop posting in a specific thread - multiple mods reached out to me and asked me to stop and all i was doing was telling him to stop posting in a specific thread where he was unwelcome because he's just plain awful and wasn't wanted there - fortunately he stopped posting there on his own because all he does is troll jbouton last few months
yet he can literally do nothing here but dedicate months toward trolling a specific user, tossing insults at him, insulting his mental health, etc and that's just a-ok?

I am suggesting you put all of your brainpower into the song I posted and apply it to your life as it relates to this website and come to the conclusion you aren't having enough fun. It's a brilliant song if you think about it in terms of this 2+2 internet universe.

he relentlessly trolls the disenfranchised and attempts to permaban anyone who even looks at him funny - if he made a brand new account and exhibited that behavior he would have been banned 100% and that is not even remotely up for debate

My experience IRL has been quite the opposite; I've found him to be extremely nice.
This certainly hasn't been true; jmitch has contributed a great deal to this site.
A thought for you - perhaps you shouldn't assume so much about what people are like based on what they post on an Internet forum?
You and I don't always see eye to eye on everything (we do on some things, of course), but we've had some good discussions even when we don't agree. So next time, send jmitchell a PM and provide him with your constructive criticism, outside of the eyes of the entire forum. Maybe there is an IRL reason that causes someone to be a little out of tune. **** happens to all of us. For example, I got fired last week and you are all mother****ers.
Give him some time. No improvement? Take it up with another mod. Still no improvement? Is the entire 2+2 mod clique collaborating against you?
