I think it's fine. The fact they call this down (correctly) is why AK no heart is a good blocker hand to use for the trip, blocking AQ/KQ and no FDs.

(hide results as a rule, you'll get way better responses)

I would bet bigger on the turn if I bet, both your value and your semi-bluffs would want to setup a more natural river shove.

I would fold in villain's shoes since I am tired to always think "this is a pure call so I will do it but they never bluff" and lose a stack. But who knows what's in this opponent's mind?

Also on the flop you can bet much bigger, the board is very good for the 3bettor, you have a massive range advantage. You (are supposed to be)/are the one with A3, which they fold preflop almost always, you have all the ovepairs, all the ATs KTs (villain is supposed to 4bet or fold a lot, even if they probably don't know) and even the big overcards.

So yes, I think the bluff is probably OK but the sizings are not ideal: small/medium/overbet shove is a bit suspicious.

Hmm I probably wouldn’t. Think a flop check does fine with no BDFD

If you’re gonna do it why not bet big or go home. I don’t like the sizing scheme.

Hey swerbs22,

On the flop I use the 1/3 pot Cbet beacuse the flop does not really change the situation and in 3bet pots on these kind of flop textures I think range-betting with 1/3 pot is the optimal strategy.

I think you have decent showdown on the river against busted draws, and don't know how many better hands are going to fold since a lot of them should have already folded the turn.

Big bet is the best strategy on boards that have a paired low card. No one is going to fold a pair, and there are a lot of them out there.

Things is, range betting has become a popular strat so it’s something more villains these days know how to play okayish vs
