Division in the party is literally the only way for the Dems to lose at the polls. So they have division in the party. Or at least in the media, which is all that really matters.
What about a Late Capitalist Oligarchy masquerading as a democracy? It seems almost noble to shed the ridiculous veil of representation to better grasp the whip.

Oddly people are talking a lot about the immunity ruling when Chevron ruling seems bigger.
If Trump didn't exist people would think the immunity ruling was boring.
the democratic party is lol. so is the Republican party.
people who make less than 50k a year and call themselves Dems have very different interests than people who make over 200k a year and call themselves Dems.
it's just a matter of wealthy Dems controlling exploited Dems.. or exploited Dems waking up and realizing they don't have to stand for being exploited
and btw people making over 200k would be better off living in a just, equitable world too
as far as an actual democracy deciding to collectively not be a democracy anymore.... I guess. sure. lol
but I think it would have to be in some weird situation where it was actually in the people's best interest to relinquish power to a ruling class/ruler
