I think this draft has a LOT of potential to be an all-time great.
Baseball is as American as apple pie, and it's been the one constant over the years. Plus going to a game in person is tons of fun.

I would play, but I won the NBA re-draft game last year and McLovin promised the winner an under title. I wanted 'Magnificent Bastard' but instead got a Big Bag of Nothing. Neither of which have materialized. So I'm out for now pending more details.

This game sounds it like has potential. Definitely interested. The historians ITT will most likely crush me, but I'm always up for a challenge.
If posters take this seriously, it has a real chance of becoming an especially great mausoleum on the internet.

It will most likely be a snake draft of Baseball's greatest players who came through in the toughest moments.
I've played around with the idea of using all of the positions like a regular lineup. Or drafting a smaller, fixed number. I think this may depend on how many partcipants there are.
Mclovin and I discussed the possibility of omitting Bonds, McGwire, Sosa, and Clemens.
There will be an emphasis on the quality of write-ups. In my mind this will be like an extension of Cooperstown. I hope everyone can get on board with doing their best work.
But really, it will be whatever people wish to do.

I just had a flashback to 6th grade when the English teacher reminded the class on Friday that book reports were due on Monday. And... of course I hadn't read the book yet. Long before the internet existed. So the biggest challenge was to not get busted for plagiarizing Cliffs Notes on said book.
Appears I might have to embrace new technology and learn how to use AI. 😃
