Why waste your time getting a Covid test? If you’re sick stay home in bed get lots of rest and fluids. What difference is it going to make if you know your illness is Covid or not?

Being vegetarian causes health problems.
Read up on oxalates, lectins etc. Also no fish, beef and dairy causes lack of Vitamin B12 and lack of actually usefull omega3 fatty acids (no, walnuts dont have those).
Not to mention how much worse our absorption rates of vitamins and minerals from plants are, compared to animal foods.

Have you actually ever tried going plant-based, or are you just parroting this from what you’ve been taught to believe?

Most B12 that you find in meat comes from supplements that are given to the animals;
We can just buy vitamins in the store though .

As far as getting nutrients from plants,

you just have to eat more if you’re hungry or feel like you’re lacking something.

Left Vegas on Sunday and had a slight tickle in my throat developer on the drive home which I chalked up to the dry air / cigarette smoke but tested positive today.

Certainly played with lots of people coughing, but honestly I've seen far worse in Vegas. I remember I came to town for Amazon's ReInvent conference in 2018 and honestly so many people were coughing throughout the conference it was insane. Certain conference talks were difficult to hear the speaker because multiple individuals would break into a coughing fit literally every few seconds. (By comparison it wasn't nearly as bad in 2019).

I suppose on the positive side at least I got whatever this new variant is out of the way. Sucks for anyone flying into town for the main event hoping for a long run.

I have never been sick on a regular basis (EVEN including 2020) until last December...and now I can't avoid getting sick no matter what I do. COVID once and multiple bad colds (which are "going around" according to my doctor) since then. I'd made it a point to not spend any significant time in a casino since when I got sick in December 2023. I started playing poker again on Memorial Day and I have been knocked out of commission twice since then with a "bad cold". And I'm f**king sick of it. F**k off and stay out of the casino with your snot wiping and coughing u losers. Or, better yet, f**king die off already.

Rule #1 - never touch anything above your neck with your bare hands unless they have been fully and properly washed or you've used Purell. And fully and properly washed means with soap and warm or hot water, for 20+ seconds. And after you wash your hands, don't touch the faucets, since they will have all sorts of germs on them from others who touched them - yourself included - with dirty hands. Instead, get paper towels, use them to dry off, then use them to turn off the faucets and also to pull open the door, since you don't want to touch that either with your clean hands.

Rule#2 - if you use Purell, use it properly. You know what has all sorts of germs on it? The outer portion of the Purell container. I've seen countless people use Purell properly, then pick up the Purell container and put in in their pocket or on the table, in essence cutting against the purpose of having used Purell. If you use it, either use a hands free dispenser or, if it is your container, squeeze an amount onto one hand, use the other hand to close the other container and put it away/aside, then and only then rub the Purell all over your hands, basically coating everything on both sides of your hands all the way to your wrists.

Rule #3 - Stay hydrated, sleep regularly, and drink as little alcohol as possible

Of course none of these help if someone coughs or sneezes directly on you, so either you risk that or you wear a properly fitting N95 or KN95 mask and hope that somehow protects you.

Not touching your wiener with dirty hands should be more important to you than washing your hands after you touched yourself.

I'm not sure why you say that. It's all external areas where you are at little to no risk of anything being transmitted. I mean, if you go out of your way to touch your urethral opening then maybe, but who does that? When someone as big of a germaphobe as me is not worried, it's a good sign of it not being a cause for viable concern.

You generally only need to wash your hands before using the toilet if your hands have come into contact with something that might carry a significant enough risk of urethral infection (such as dirt or raw meat) since you last washed them

The main reason to wash your hands after using the toilet isn't only because you might touch your genitals and then sometime afterwards your face, it's because your hands might have come into contact with the microorganisms and particles of fecal matter that get sprayed into the air every time a toilet flushes

Assuming you otherwise practice good hygiene, your wiener is probably going to be way less dirty than any part of a bathroom

When it comes to the poker room, I am not entitled to or owed anything by them. I don't own it, I didn't pay to be there and it's not my place to tell them who can and can't play there. If I get sick, ultimately that falls on me for being there. But I am entitled to think that those who find it funny that other people get sick or know that they are contagiously sick and still go to a poker room anyways are garbage.

the answer is yes I got the double-shot vax/booster back in April & May 2021. It was free, easy to get, and was necessary to do certain things back then. And I wasn't still completely sure COVID couldn't kill u.

I never got sick or got COVID (for the first time) until June 2022. I haven't had a shot/booster since 2021. Back then it was said that the protection with the shot/booster would be for about a year. Seems remarkably on point from my experience.

Captain snowflake, we were not in doubt about whether you got the vax or not. Just please keep on your mental meds, it’s important.
