2024 F1 Season.
Seeing as no one has started a new thread yet I thought I would.
Will Max win everything again?
Has Lewis made the right decision to switch?
When will Horner get sacked?
Is 24 races far too many?
Predictions for the season?
Mine is Perez will get replaced mid way through the season and Lando will actually finally win a race
Sky F1 hasn't been this excited on the call for 3 years
oh god max is a lot quicker now
Gutted Russel retired would of been great all 4 up there
great race great result
ham said after quali that he was looking forward to working with george in the the race, i was like wat, but on the start he clearly gave up a chance at nicking first in order to defend george against norris, quite nice of him
oh man i was just thinking that its a shame they never get to fly a flag after the race any more cos safety, but he got hold of one
McLaren dropping the ball
8 points for Hulk
lolperez
lolclerc
Verstappen in that race was weird. He had no pace in the dry at the start, no pace in the damp while still on slicks, no pace in the wet on inters, and then was lightning fast on the hards at the end.
Omg! I actually got teary eyed. Happy for Lewis.
McLaren with a huge fumble
england 1 holland 0 is a nice line, or at least it would be if max wasn't so belgian

Verstappen last stint was entirely down to the tires. The harder compounds were way better at the end.
Ham, Norris, and Sainz were on softs and super slow, Max on hards, and Oscar on mediums
To illustrate the difference, in just 12 laps, Oscar made up 18 seconds on Norris despite Norris having the slightly newer tires. If Norris had gotten mediums, then he wins that race with ease.
Also, don't forget that Oscar lost 20 seconds by not double stacking, and he ended up losing by 12.5 seconds. OK, if they double stack, then he'll probably lose 3-4 seconds, but still that's a 16 second difference. Norris lost 18 seconds with the soft over medium call. So McLaren had 2 cars that would've won the race by a few seconds and neither were within sniffing distance thanks to dumb calls. Even Ferrari was never that bad (in a single race).
LOL CHECO
Incredible how this guy just keeps on delivering teh utter failaments
Watching the pitwall when Checo bins it again is so funny. Hope they dump him during the summer break.
Max crying again, what’s new?
yeah... he really does turn into a Whinny Biatch when he doesn't get what he wants. He complained about being pushed off, then in the very next corner on that first lap, he pushed Lulu off in turn 2
Even if the truth was that he did have the apex in turn 1, his momentum off the track gained an advantage. I felt he should have given back TWO positions.
wow... that last message criticizing the team is really impetuous and unhelpful. It's always someones else's fault.
This McLaren situation is about to get awkward
The team completely **** the bed and now you have 2 victims in the pilot
Even Max's team is pissed off with him today. Just essentially called him childish on the team radio.
The McLaren situation is definitely going to be interesting as well.
I’m Australian but I’m with Lando. Oscar is 6 seconds behind. Lando has a chance to win the title, don’t swap. Sure Oscar is worthy of a win but he should be ok with 2nd. His time will come.
And now the swap has happened.
The race was basically on the radio today
Boring race but the team radio entertainment was excellent. Swapping was corrent and Lando should have done it way earlier. He got the undercut on his team mate twice and wouldn't be close if that was done the other way around.
Lando had to suspect that a firm team order was coming eventually. He should have let him by way sooner then been there to overtake him fairly if Oscar made a mistake.
Kinda sucks for Oscar. His first ever win, but it feels a bit cheap and his reaction after the race was more muted than it probably would've been otherwise.
Can't believe there was no punctures nor damage after that Lewis/Max contact. Max's car got damn near vertical and slammed back to the ground, then seemed perfectly fine afterwards.
Now we see why Max doesn't have a ton of non-Dutch fans despite being so dominant.
lando is a massive dummy lol. let him past with 10 laps to go and you probably get a chance to barge your way past him and win
he should have just slowed down 50' from the start finish line on the last lap...
