House of the Dragon: Targaryens Still Fighting Over The Most Metal Chair
you're probably not gonna believe this, but ~200 years before GoT there was a bunch of Targaryens battling over who shou
yeah got got smaller as it went along. dany went west, jon came south of the wall, everyone went to kings landing, etc. hotd maybe doing the opposite, most stuff was in kl during s1 (basically just in the red keep), and now it's opening up more, even the capitol is
thought ep3 was the weakest of the season, but there was still some good stuff in there. like daemon at harrenhal, for example. anyway looks like the war is finally gonna kick off next ep, so that'll be fun
Harrenhal scenes were good. Ep 3 was better. Dunno I just found Ep 2 boring.
Incredible episode. 10/10
good trade
Is Aegon alive? Dead? Is it left ambiguous on purpose?
Why would the greens risk Vhagar already? Without him, they're pretty much screwed and the war is over.
Why would the blacks not anticipate that the other side might use their dragons and have the rest of their forces on standby? Instead they sacrifice Rhaenys when they could've teamed up on Vhagar and won the war.
Entertaining episode b/c action, but whereas in early GOT, big character deaths actually meant something, this season of HotD is just both sides doing nonsensical, ill conceived things, and random big characters dying for the sake of dying.
was thinking before the season that it'd probably take a parent's death to pull laenor back into this, so now that it's happened i wonder if we'll see him again before this season ends. surely the news of this dragon war will make it east to where ever he is. plus team black is kind of in need of dragons with experienced riders rn. also wonder if rhaenyra will tell corlys that his son is still alive at this point, but then again they just introduced this bastard son alan, so who knows.

you can't really have it both ways. if it's stupid of the greens to "risk" vhagar, then i guess it makes sense that the tarp worked. if any dragon besides vhagar turned up, then they were trumped by meleys, as sunfyre was.
how is this thread not popping off? I remember coming here after GOT and the place was insane. was hoping to come back to that and it seems dead. this last ep was great imo. last wasnt to bad for low action. great series so far. hope more people come share their thoughts!!!

I agree. On one of my sports boards there have been about 8 pages just on last nights episode. This board is dead.

It's a good show and I look forward to it on Sunday nights but it's nowhere close to GOT greatness imo.
that was some pretty great tv
the gore bothered me though. I can't remember ever seeing more gore than that on tv
Show is better than got. **** dem dragons. Hard to envision the blacks "winning" now but I assume the greens will fumble the ball a bunch.
I can envision both sides winning b/c it's trivially easy to walk through the city/castle and gain access to Alicent, Rhaenyra, the royal family (Helaena and kids), etc.
I love hod. Sucks that I got a major spoiler that most non book readers will be super lucky to avoid. I'm still liking it.
I think a bonus feature in got spoiled a few things.
Maybe. I can't find it online.
Was it not one of those animated things.
I quite enjoyed those.
I just came across a major character spoiler on a YouTubeep review vid and didnt realise it was a book reader until to late. They may change it but its so big i dknt see how. And cosidering the show is on such a short timel8ne it still could be anytime. Don't know the when just the how. And to me I felt lucky to avoid it as long as I did. Afraid if I say any more I could effect the viewing experience.
yeah the spoilers have been crazy with this show, especially compared to game of thrones. seems like nobody cares anymore. you go on youtube and not only will people openly just talk about whatever in their videos, they'll even put spoilers in video titles and thumbnails. it's wild
Alt Shift X walks the line pretty well.
He never spoils future content.
Even in his Dune book/movie video, 0 future spoilers.
I really only trust to watch his stuff and he's the best anyway so 1 outside hotd place is fine for me.
ya he's da goat. and glidus
shoutout the folks who realize that a lot of ppl haven't read fire & blood and don't want to be spoiled on everything
Got a scorching take that's burning a hole in me pocket - Episode 5 > Episode 4
That episode just kind of ended.
Almost like The Wire where they finish with simple conversation.
