AA vs 1 suited board
Hi guys, Im new here, I think I missplayed a hand, would love to hear about your thoughts
50$-cent/1.50$ live Casino in Prag
8 players
both players in the hand 170BB deep
UTG+1 opens to 6$, Im 3betting in the SB with AA to 22$ no spade / Pot 45%
UTG calls: Flop comes KT3s all spades
I check in the SB
UTG+1 bets 30$
I shove all-in and he shows me Q5 in spades
Player was very loose till this point and I think I dont wanted to give him the chance if he has a FD the chance to make his hand. Moreover I counted with the possibility that he even calls me with a ace or king high FD

1. Don't post results.
2. Pre is good.
3. I prfefer small bet flop, but check is not bad.
4. Shove is terrible this deep. We want him to give us more money when he doesn't have spades, and not bet to give him bad odds on the off chance he has the naked Ks or As.
Im not sure but isnt, bet small 1/3, bet small and river check the best line and fold to any raise?
On the other hand the guy was a bit loose and bluffy
I mostly agree with hitchens, but...
I'm not sure you are ever going to get away from this hand without a lot of hurt because I'm assuming based on V's splashy play that he is a LAG and will raise a good FD. If V is just very loose pre but plays fit or fold post, then it would be easy to fold to his first sign of aggression.
pre - you're good.
scenario 1 - I lead flop 50% ~$25 to ensure I'm not giving him a free draw. V slow plays and calls.
S1A - If turn is another spade I shut down and eventually fold losing ~$50
S1B - If turn is a blank, I fire another 50% ~$50 and V either slow plays calls and I check/fold river or V raises and I fold losing about $100, or
S1C - I assume V is semi bluffing and I shove losing it all.
scenario 2 - Flop I lead 50% ~$25. V fast plays and raises to $60 - 75. depending on my read of V's agro, ...the following plays out...
S2A - fold losing ~$50 but I'm not sure I can make this fold vs this V as a LAG
S2B - I call and probably fold to his AI next street losing ~$125, but again that's a difficult fold vs this V.
S2C - I shove and lose everything. Some might argue that you could semi min reraise for less than a shove to ~$130 but that leaves you with $255 (your starting stack) - 140 - 25 - 22 = 68. That's a pretty hard fold at that point even though you have to know you're toast.
some hands you are going to get screwed and the only variable is how hard.

For sure, but we need to ignore results; he perhaps only has a made flush 15% of the time. We need to play in a way that maximizes what we make from someone incredibly loose.
Given the player description I think you under bet pre-flop. Good bet vs good player; bad sizing vs a player that calls with anything as you can get more in.

I am ignoring results. Based on my scenarios, I think I presented every reasonable action. You might vary the post flop bet in a range of 33 - 60%, but that doesn't really change the scenario outcomes. I almost always bet 50% just to hide my bluffs better.
Checking flop seems very weak to me and is begging to get outplayed. But I'm sure others can disagree there.
This isn't a spot or hand you should CR.
what exact line you guys think its the best than?
check call flop / check fold turn or bet small flop, bet small turn and give up or call the river depending on my reads if existing?
170bb deep when Q5ss calls your 3b and flops the 2nd nuts and you have no redraw you are going to lose some money. I don’t think you can fold on the flop but on the turn, if V bombs again? Gotta let it go. You played this like you’re normal short stack strategy but need to adjust once you get 170bb deep. It’s a 60 bb cooler and a 110bb punt.
