2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
Love is looking like he could be a star. I don't like that he is not stacked. I love the upside of Levis and potentially Fields.. Compared to other QB rooms it's not the best but you didn't have to spend a ton of draft capital.
I took my wrs first and than qbs later so obv no chance at stacking but yea didn’t use much draft capital on them .
The RB room is fragile. Both AR and Kyler were great values and I think it's a fun pairing but it came at the cost of a worse RB room. I'm praying Benson has at least a little stand alone value early. I do think he is gonna emerge in a big way at some point when Conner misses time. I also think Ekeler in the 12th is just silly.

What I like to do is anytime I draft a WR/TE, I'll immediately add that QB to my queue.
Doesn't mean I'll always draft them, but it helps me stay on the lookout so I don't miss any opportunities to stack.

I’m used to ekeler in the 10th so getting him in the 12th is insane
That's an interesting exercise. That's Liam's roster from BBM2.
Here is Pat's from BBM3.
Does Pat even advance to week 15 if they didn't cancel the Bengal/Bills game? Disregard...Dgoat pointed out the error of my ways.
I couldn't imagine how I angry I would have been if I had a ton of stacks from this game. I was bitter just having a DFS team highly stacked.
In PPR I think he should be going round 8 ish. He goes 12th on UD which is half PPR. I'd be scooping him up now. The minute people get eyes on him in camp and pre season I think he starts moving up rapidly. If he looks like a turd then disregard.

I think him and Robinson jr are both great value . Think it’s dumb to take them both so I try to wait till one is gone and take the other .
Whats with all this Denver talk. I'm betting on them still being a terrible offense and just avoiding everyone apart from Sutton in WR needy teams.
I also think there's far better picks than Javonte at current ADP
Part of it is RBs get targeted something 30% in Payton offenses. Nix being a dump off king in college accentuates that appeal too.
I’d be much more confident in them being trash if a dusty vet was leading the way, but unknown late round rookie QBs have burned the faders before.
Sutton is actually the one I’m fading the most, haha, since he’s the most expensive. And I’m generally not taking WR in his ADP range. I’ll probably be heaviest on Franklin at 8-10%.
I made it home to get in a Pug.
QB) AR, Kyler
RB) A Jones, Benson, Ekeler, Lloyd, Wright, R Johnsons
WR) Puca, Harrison, Dell, Pickens, AD Mitchell, M Wilson, M Washington
TE) Pitts, Musgrave, Likely
Fun. I put together a Kyler team for my last bullet too. He fell to 95.
Kyler, Love
Pacheco, Walker, Corum, Zeke, Kendre, D’Onta
CD, Evans, Kupp, Watson, Wilson, DRob, LMC, Dortch
McBride, Musgrave
Wish I had gone WR in either the 5th or the 7th. Was going to take JSN, then he went 73 so took Walker 74. Keon the only WR still on the board there.
I think you're right.
In that case the cancellation was extremely beneficial to him. My heart goes out to those who could have won big money. I still feel they should have figured out a day to get the game in.
I can’t imagine making it to the finals with that game stack and missing out. Pat had a sweat and winning wasn’t a forgone conclusion, but it also wasn’t a lock he was going to be passed either, even with a decent game output. He’s talked about it before, but I can’t remember the details.
Half of the community hates Ridley. Half of the community loves Ridley. I can’t figure it out haha. The people I view as sharper are fading Ridley at price, so it makes me hesitant.
But I do have quite a bit of various Titans/Jags.

I feel like the sharps loved Ridley last year . I don’t think Levis is awful so we will see .
I find myself going more thin at both QB and TE in my slow drafts where I can think through plans versus my fast drafts. Ending up with more 3 QB and/or 3 TE slows versus more 2 in fasts, since I usually aim to lock up both positions earlier in fasts to not get locked out.
But I like this team, although Hurst as TE2 is pretty gross. I’m not sure I’ve drafted Hurst once.
Hopefully Warren, Edwards and Ekeler give you enough for Benson, Lloyd and Chubb to catch up.
Yes my TE2 is not great. I do think Hurst will be the leading TE pass catcher on the team. He's played with Greg Roman and Jim's brother in Baltimore so it should be a smooth transition. He's mentioned that he is happy to be back in an offense he feels comfortable in. He should get plenty of playing time because he's a good blocker. Harbough likes to use TE's near the goal line. At pick 18 I just need a dude who can fall into the end zone a few times this year. He also serves as a bring back. I figure not many people are drafting him so what the heck.

He’s on the chargers right ? I think Parham gets the rz looks .
Ridley was a good play last year. He had some spike weeks. He had some floor weeks. He had a lot of missed opportunities.
It’s one of the main reasons I’m so in on BTJ, since I expect him to play this role.
Callahan is excited about Ridley. And they gave him a bag. Ridley’s best season came opposite another elite receiver. And yeah, I think Levis can be decent for fantasy, even if he’s bad irl.

I like getting Ridley or Hopkins so I can set up a Levis stack. I think we could see a dramatic change in this offense from last year. No more Henry. An improved offensive line with a great line coach. A head coach who will probably want to throw a ton. Tyler Boyd is a solid professional receiver. Pollard and Spiers can both catch the ball. There could be some shoot outs in this division.
Titans and Jags.
Wish you could sort like that on dk .
I have a full fade on Ridley purely due to price
