Moderation Questions
The last iteration of the moderation discussion thread was a complete disaster. Numerous attempts to keep it on topic fa
People talked about Messi destroying teams despite him not being the GK, four defenders, three midfielders and three strikers all at the same time.
I think you're all bored and looking to create trouble.
This is what I am referring to. What she is telling us is not 100% clear. When she said "I'm telling you to stop", I am not exactly sure to what she is referring. What it looks like to me is that if you disagree enough with Victor that he starts misbehaving, you are deemed to have been "trolling" and will be moderated.Victor is a grown-ass man. He doesn't need constant baby
From what I’ve seen this is basically how it goes. Better to just not engage then to engage and get moderated.
Would the Germans have won the war if the Soviets weren't in it? I doubt it, but it would have been a much bloodier affair for the Western Allies. Would the Germans have won the war against the Soviets if there wasn't a western front? Probably not, just due to the Soviet's overwhelming advantage when it came to manpower, but it again would have been a much bloodier outcome fo

Stalin is not Jordan or Messi in this scenario. This has already been covered.
Your boy is the one making controversial claims, and the people responding to him are the ones looking to create trouble. Got it.
Nah, saying Stalin won the war is a simplification of something complex but it's mostly true. The Americans accelerated Hitler's defeat thank god and ensured Russia didn't encroach any further into Western Europe than Eastern Germany but Hitler was done with or without them.
It's a simplification of a complex situation with the Allies taking a lot of destruction and casualties but nothing compared to Russia.
And this is from someone whose family lived in Coventry.

this is not what he said at all

None of that implies that Stalin defeated Hitler, which is the agenda Victor is pushing here. It's one thing to have a reasoned discussion about which side contributed what. It's a completely different thing to spew commie propaganda backed up by faulty logic and misleading statistics.
That's a paraphrase not a quotation.

ok fine USA beat Hitler
Pretty accurate paraphrase.
Stalin beat the Nazis so that gives him a bit of leeway with me. I understand that it is a negative to most Westerners.
Yes, as I said it's oversimplified but if you want to attribute Hitler's defeat to one entity only then it's obviously the USSR.
guys guys. I was wrong. I just looked it up. Hitler beat Hilter. or maybe Eva Braun did.
USSR 2 Germany 0
Assists from UK and USA. France limped off claiming an injury in the 5th minute.
No, it wasn't. When is this work in progress of reading and comprehending what others have written before responding going to be complete?
Hint: The % of soldiers killed does not correspond to the % of war won.
You and vic have more in common than you (want to?) realise: you're both aware that you were heavily propagandised during your formative years.
One of us still is, just stopped being aware. I guess you and I disagree which one.
Anyway, the Berlin Wall fell when I was 7 and we emigrated to the UK when I was 8, so I don't know that I was particularly heavily propagandised, and certainly not in my formative years.
