5-Card PLO Double Board Bomb Pot - Facing Turn AI w/TTP/Wrap/FD

$1/$1 Home Game
$2 Bomb Pot
9 Players
5-Card PLO

Villain (HJ) - $215
Hero (Button) Covers and is dealt KT678

Pot $18

1st Board J54
2nd Board 783

Checks to Villain who bets $15, CO calls, Hero raises to $70, Folds to Villain who thinks for 30 seconds and calls, CO folds

Feel like I'm likely good on with TTP/SD on the 2nd board, can possibly drive out a bare NFD/weak two pairs on the 1st board and am trying to get HU with Villain - maybe too spewy with 3 clubs in my hand, though?

Pot $173

Turn

1st Board J549
2nd Board 7833

Villain thinks for 1 minute before shoving $144, Hero?

Villain is a huge PLO Double Board whale (i.e. will pile in 300bb with straight no redraw playing 1 board, peel weak draws all the way on both boards, often pot it when checked to as a bluff, etc.) so seems likely he somehow has 3xxxxx but don't think he filled up - possible he could be going nuts with J9xxx, too. Thoughts? Easy fold with little equity on 2nd board despite massive draw on 1st?

what kind of live read do you have on this player? most players who are willing to get 300bb in with a one-way hand in double board pots are not tanking with a hand that has you crushed here, but is he the type to hollywood?

i probably call it off but i'm not in love with it or anything. feels like he would get it in with JJ on the flop but he could have, like, 99 + nut clubs or something, that would suck. you're actually better off if he just has you dead on the bottom with a hand like AKJ33 no clubs, at that point you're getting correct odds just to draw at the top half.

He knows I'm tight and tends to bet big against me when running bluffs and will go smaller with nutted hands. 99xxx is very possible, but confident he'd rip 33xxx on the flop so quad 3s is unlikely imo

We have so much equity on top. We could be ahead on bottom. Against a whale I just call it off. Giving whales action is usually fine.

A few dead outs (in hand, on other Board) .. a few more non-nut outs now too .. but it's the Whale.

What's the BI? Are you ready with another bullet or two? Assume this was early in the night?

Not really the best BP spot IMO .. good Thread to see posted. GL

$200 match the stack and have plenty of additional bullets left - about 3 hours in but expect game to break in 2ish hours (several have family obligations next day)

turn is a fairly trivial call imo, especially vs whale. It sounds like you might be undervaluing your average equity on second board. Top 2p is good sometimes, k may be a clean out vs a hand like jjxx or 99xx and hero also the gutshot straight draw.

Hero should easily have more than the 31% equity required to profitably call on average.
