Getting Barry-ed this deep has got to hurt

cantu "did everything I could" lololololol

Why they move Lena900 off the feature

by Loctus k

If it was only Lena being moved off he probably just got randomized off?

This. Who gets moved to the TV table isn't based on "okay, who can we pluck from the field and put there" basis. From a tourney management perspective, the two or three featured tables are pretty much like any other. Players get moved around the way they always would if this was not a streamed event.

From there, the tables that should have the most viewer interest are then chosen to go under the lights. What I'm waaaay less sure about is who makes this determination, and when it happens. There are often times when I can help but think, "Wait... why are we watching these guys?" And then I imagine there is probably someone in the production truck going, "How long before the dinner break? We need to swap Table 2 out toot sweet!"

Interviewing Hellmuth during the break propping up Cantu for how patient he's being and then immediately seeing him get his last (4?) bigs in with 87o was hilarious.

He was in the BB so already put two of those four in but yes he learned how to fold himself to no chips from the best.

Brian Kim just doubled up. Him and Lena are way ahead in skill from the rest of the field

Yeah going with that hand is fine, just had a good chuckle at the timing with the Hellmuth interview.

I thought Brian Kim is superpro because he plays Tritons.

Someone in chat said he has trustfund background. Is he just a rich dude who likes to play and is a smart studied hobbyist or does he have positive ROI EV at Tritons with the worlds best?

okay that calldown by xiao was bad at least she goes with her read I guess

edit--if the cards shown were right, it's been wrong a few times

Lol the asian woman Xiao just lost it...

Punted his almost 50bb stack away for nothing. Well nice score still for amateur.

UTG open TT
BB 3bet A2o
UTG call

Flop A24
BB bet - UTG raise - BB call
Turn dont know what happened
River A2437
50bb in pot BB lead 25% UTG call with TT

Why go broke there with tens, just give up on the flop lol or call once.

She raised flop!? oooof. That's super punty

Latinois massive chip leader now. Haven’t seen hardly any of him until now

Yes the guy with 17 bracelets and 11 runner ups is best known for just folding himself to nothing

Hellmuth is the Trump of poker
some people just lose their minds when the topic comes up

were those the same suits of tens as last time? If so, she probably didn't have tens

edit--one was red one was black but nope just a big misread, maybe she had a tell on him being weak pre but didn't adjust for it after that

Are you guys talking about the old Xiao hand? Because she just doubled up with AJ on my feed.

Lol @ the guy who apologised to the stream before tanking to try and get the payjump

This Russell guy runs good

by wheatrich k

Brandon Cantu eliminated???
HE WAS MY PICK TO WIN IT ALL.
now *that* is playing really, really bad

by persianpunisher k

Cantu finally busted!

Cantu was in the BB so already put two of those four big blinds in, but yes he learned how to fold himself to no chips from the best.

After spending the better part of 3 days folding nearly everything but his laundry at the table,
Cantu busting out the way he played that hand was terrible.
Every decision Cantu made that hand was wrong.
Go All-in pre flop or fold.
As played, check fold that flop.

This Russell guy runs good

Punting 30bb with AQs seems not ICM smart.

But he is in great shape now, perhaps his aggression will pay off.

If you're going on any flop anyway then shoving pre with literally 87o with zero fold equity is wrong.

Sucks that Foxen & Xiao are short stacked. Badly wanted to see a woman make the final table.

There is a chance one of them spins it up today. Hope for it.

Another one will bust today for sure but maybe one lucky lady gets through.

Ugh…. That river fold….

Gotta love value raising nonsense and having it work as a bluff

AQ vs AK on the A75dddXx

That was quite the sequence. Foxen's bet size with the AK got him to shove on her with a hand she actually beat but that was probably the only hand she beat so she folded.
