GGPoker Is Not Letting Me Withdraw my Funds
At GGPoker, you can make as many deposits as you would like without a single restriction. They will let you play on their site without any verification. If you happen to win and want to cash out, then GGPoker all of a sudden is dedicated to "security" and they will require you to submit a photo ID, proof of address, and then once you do that, they will just continue to come up with hoops to jump through to prevent you from receiving the money that you won.
I have a couple thousand dollars in my account that I have tried to cash out. GGPoker said that I have to verify my account to cash out. This is complete bullshit because I was able to make a deposit without verification and I was allowed to make bets without verification and so I should be able to withdrawal my funds without verification. That is something that even a child in elementary school understands and this is typical scam behavior by GG.
After I submitted my passport and bank statement for proof of address, they still will not let me cash out and this was their email that I just received,
"To proceed, please submit a video selfie of you holding a valid proof of identity document (ID, drivers license) and saying "GG, please verify my account."
They are out of their god damn mind if they think I'm going to do that. There is no mention of this anywhere in their terms of service and this is straight up theft. I hope they understand that I will not rest until they send me my money. If I have to go to Las Vegas and find Daniel Negreanu and make him tell them to give me my money then that's what I will do. I have done nothing wrong, I have not cheated, and I only want to withdraw my money.
Has anyone experienced this with GG? Has anyone ever got their money?

Don't want to be that guy but not full story here obviously.. first thing i do when i join is verify even before deposit , why would u resist so much of verification?

Hey, our forum is not as easy as that. To enhance the user experience we often allow users to post and sometimes open threads without further verification, but before you are able to receive credible answers you really have to submit a video selfie of yourself wearing a Twice T-Shirt and saying "2+2, please verify my account."

The customer has not yet provided requested documents;
The customer identification documents have expired;
There are fraud/cheating/collusion/money-laundering concerns;
The customer attempts to withdraw without participating in sufficient game-play;

The payment method to which the withdrawal has been requested is not the same as the depositing method"

Be happy that GG Poker has security policies that makes sure that a cybercriminal hacking your account cannot cash out your balance

Yeah sure, none of that is true whatsoever. I am amazed at the level of stupidity on this forum. (I'm really not because these are all clearly posts from the mods or from the GG themselves and are not actual real people with real opinions but I have to go along with it because it needs to be acknowledged)
I can make a deposit right now for any amount of money that I want and I can play on the site with that money any time that I want. If I can't withdraw those funds after winning the money I won after betting it, then the ENTIRE BUSINESS MODEL FOR GG IS A SCAM. GG doesn't require me to provide verification before I bet. If they did, I would have no issue with that.

I also would like to add an update. GG tried to hack my email as I got multiple emails from Google saying that they blocked suspicious attempts and that they cannot grant the request for me to recover my account.

It is in their terms you halfwit, go read their withdrawal policy you muppet before you accuse me of putting false info out there. What I quoted in my above post was copied and pasted directly from their withdrawal policy on GGs website.
And secondly in your original post you say you sent your ID and they still refused but then say they requested other means such as a selfie holding ID. Then do what they ask and yes they are entitled to do this and again if you read the terms you will see that.
As for your claim of scam because they let you deposit without verification. I played on 888, Stars and several Ipoker skins and currently only play on Party poker and they all do things this way. If you read the terms carefully at the start you would have seen it was required before withdrawal.
If you supply them with what they look for and everything is above board with the ID but they refuse every document they ask for then escalate your case with all the evidence to the regulator.
As of this moment what they request is quite standard.
