Sick day 8 table draw, at least the 3 best players left all with chips all at table 1
I wonder how many more $10k bi+ event final tables that Lena has played compared to the rest of the field. 10x as many as they all have combined? Yes obv considering online events here.
The man is going to be an absolute ICM terror lol
The dude plays several 10ks+ a week for years lol. So yea gonna be at least 10x the amount of the rest of the field. Massive favorite.
It is happening again. I can't get the on demand showing of last night via Roku. At least I can get it on my phone.
I fell asleep and Foxen had a little over 5 mill. Thought I’d wake up to news of her being out but she got a top 10 stack?!? That’s great!
One single person makes this thread a painful read honestly. I wish there was a tad more moderation sometimes.
Must say it annoys me greatly that the commentators basically refuse to criticise any of the players in this broadcast. Xiao made a fairly bad river bet followed by a complete spew with 10s and they say nothing at all. Can't think of another sport where that would happen.
Tell me you are new to broadcast/streamed poker without telling me you are new to broadcast/streamed poker.
Brian Kim, Foxen, Coelho, Serock, Lena900 all at the same table so sick cant wait.

One of the main goals of broadcasting these tournaments is to draw new players into poker. If you were a new player and thought if you came in a commentator would call you bad in front of tens of thousands of people, you're probably just going to pick up another hobby.

I completely understand them pulling for a woman to go far and do well, but I think they did go a bit overboard with completely pulling for her and basically making any opponent against her a villain, while they are making a once in a lifetime run of their own.
I didn't see a ton of Xiao hands but the ones I did see seemed butchered badly.
She played some standard spots well. But she's only been in poker for 2 years and these deep spots in a tournament like the main have probably not been a part of her study regimen yet. She needed to sun run just as much as any other pro would need to in order to get there.
Idk I'd take being a successful software engineer at Google that's good enough to place top 100 in the main over being slightly better at preflop ranges in NLH.
She also had great interviews imo.
I assume we are all on the Foxen bandwagon, yes?
