They shouldn't be talking about possible tells imo.
jj snap fold so we're just giving the cl/others no bluffs/anything worse huh
you need to win an all-in, you're last in chips
He probably gave the 3b from the CL worse, yeah
The 4b from a middling stack that has been quiet and is under a ton of ICM pressure, yeah not sure that's ever worse than JJ. Maybe AK.
"Griff looking for a chop somewhere there"
Jesus Christ, Lon.
gonzalez folds TT to a griff 3 bet but jammed KK on it a hand ago
yeah JJ folding looks fine to me
(TT fold was inexplicably correct given how aggressive griff has been but he might have picked up a tell by now)

Same guy just snap folded TT to a 3b but tell me more how many bluffs he has in that cold 4b jamming range.
this is sickening to watch now, nobody is gonna do anything
just facilitate chops lol
feels like we've been way over distributed premium pairs and sets this FT
Don't understand folding TT to the 3-bet from Griff.
Yeah I'm sure you would crush Tamayo heads up lol
Sagle lmao
and then another AA
The guy on the rail smashing the TV on accident is ****ing hilarious 😃
Live tells are sort of funny because I can't imagine how many false positives (or false negatives) have come out of them. I've already mentioned my usual examples of old-school pros getting betrayed by their live reads.
I know for me personally, there have been times where I've flopped huge but due to the board texture, still did not feel good about the hand. It's one of those "oh great, I just hit top set and I know I'm about to get futtbucked by the runout" moments. On the other hand, think how
There are some things that are short reliable even today. Of course nothing is 100 percent.
If you play with the same people a lot you can really pick of on some things especially from recs.
Now good players on a stage this big they've never been on before - I'm not sure how reliable anything would be.
I'm sure all of these guys have friends watching hands etc and could easily see someone picking up a tell on a friend a day or two ago, telling them about it and then having them use it as a false tell.

in one of the only 10ks I've ever played I spent about 2 hours being stared at by Stevie C and by the end I was convinced that ****er could see right into my soul
I don’t like the grey chips as the big chip
I like a good tan/peach color
I like when it was the yellows and purples for the big chips.
Dank 3-bet jam by Tamayo
For Griff being the only non-pro left, I think he's holding his own quite well. Hasn't made any huge missteps IIRC and has had some well timed aggression.
I did have to hold off hitting send on this for a minute in case he short-circuited with 85cc on the river there.

astedt's not supposed to have a full house there as that board really shouldn't smash a SB limp but he bet pot on the river--I at least would've thought about a bluff raise.
I thought he was going to do it.
'big and little. you hate it'
thanks Lon
