ATo MW, flop OESD
1/3 NLHE 8 handed
SB - bad loose passive calling 20 pre and folding everything post, just bleeding down to nothing then g
But does he turn A9o into a bluff? Or is he good enough to know he's raising A9o for value here when there's three to a straight on the flop, another straight comes in on the turn, and the flush comes in on the river?
If he showed A9o, I'd want his number, so I can ask him for poker lessons.
You asked if you should have 3B here. Assuming he actually is good enough to know A9o is good, hell no, you shouldn't 3B this guy. He's a genius with balls big enough to come in a dump-truck. You shouldn't even be sitting at the same table with him.
He didn't float the turn, it wasn't bet.
If he did have A9, he definitely wasn't bluffing, and I can't see how that would be an amazing value bet.
Hero looked exactly like he had what he did, one pair of Aces.
i mean a9 seems like a clear raise vs block especially given hero's line up until this point. would be a call or potentially mix / fold vs different sizes but hero bets 45 into 180 lol
Grunch: I’m very comfortably playing either loose-passive or loose-aggressive successfully and I would still fold pre here. Good poker is boring. ATo oOP is trash.
