I mean it's not just me. Seems fairly universally agreed he's one of the funniest presidents. Google it. And it's not because he's some stand up comedic genius. He has some decent bits but mostly it's outlandish soundbites and buffoonery that bring the lols.

lbj needs to be #1

Women should not be secret service agents due to strength and psychological makeup. A woman is much more likely to choke under pressure of fire and not sacrifice her body for the President.

They have trouble holstering their gun under pressure. They are more worried about their sunglasses falling off. One of them screamed "Where do we go"?

It's a cute little story having female secret service agents until they come under fire.

There's a reason only men fought in battle for all of human history (with rare exceptions).

and you think that reason is the misogynistic belief that woman can't handle pressure and wouldn't make a sacrifice

Joan of Arc?

The new Blues Clues episode revolves around a transmitter:

Oh good, you're back, there's something I've been meaning to ask you. Does the "BG" stand for "bible gurgler"? Is that like a level above bible thumper?

I've read stories about the female spies and cross-dressing warriors. 10/10 would recommend.

Agreed, but mainly for a different reason than the ones you mentioned.

If it is correct to think a candidate that is expected to win is so bad that it would be good if he died, would not the better alternative be that the voters who gave him that win not be allowed to vote? Partially to prevent a horrible candidate and partially because we do not want voters who don't realize that he is so bad that he deserves death?

Running with this hypothetical, how do you propose we prevent voters who are going to vote for him from voting? Do we just rip up their ballots if we see they've voted for him? In that case, we can just stop him being on the ballot altogether, right?

i think you would be surprise how hurtful and damaging to the body giving birth can be ….and stressful.

If you think it's important that the people protecting the President are of a certain size and capability, then your priority is the safety of the President.

If you think diversity and equity are more important, then your priorities are simply diversity and equity.

Which one of these priorities do you think are best suited to keep the President safe?

I doubt any woman is going to "sacrifice her body for him" any time soon, so it's probably not something he has thought about.

Can you tell us more about how Trump "survived" a felony conviction? That was a hoot. I survived a felony conviction too, will you vote for me?

Women are physiologically predisposed to handle giving birth.

Handling the stress of coming under fire while protecting the President, not so much.

Otherwise this was a dead on analogy.

by MrDavitWilliam

Wrong.

It is possible to recognize that the assassination attempt was wrong and never should have happened. And that such an attempt will only make matters in the country worse.

But it also possible to recognize that once that threshold is crossed, it would be better for the country had the effort not failed.

Both can be, and are, true.

That logically translates to:

"There are people who we should prefer die, rather than escape death if an assassination is attempted because the news that the assassination was attempted is worse for the country than a successful assassination even though the successful assassination is better than the unsuccessful one. But from that we can conclude that if the death was a murder that could made to look like it came from natural causes it could be the best alternative in some cases."

Do you realize you are saying that?

by housenuts

Agreed. And saying let's march to the capitol isn't hateful rhetoric to anyone with half a brain either.

But then when events happen that can be associated with those comments, it all of a sudden becomes hateful rhetoric.

Tough to have it both ways.

Let’s fight like hell is something I say to my kids when I want them to make peace .

Well one thing is for sure , some woman’s are more predispose to have kids then others .
Some of them end up being beat up for the rest of their life ….

My point was, pain is pain , and woman can sustain lot of pain for hours in delivering room , better then most man imo .

A lot of men becomes « pussies » under fire too…
So I reject your sexist stance .

Teenaged Dutch girls murdering Nazis, that is courage.

Everyone says I'm MAGA rah rah, Trump fan boy, etc. They are wrong.General GOP positions I don't care for:Religion is lol. Even though I was in the infantry for 12 years, I'm not a big gun advocate. I don't own any guns or have a gun license. Heartbroken at all the shootings that happen. Some reform would be nice there. Abortion - women should be able to choose. I actually don'

Those are basically the three bastions of modern republicanism. I mean, once you take that stuff away, it really is pretty much only "crypto and lols" left.

How do you even gurgle a bible? Makes no sense.

You guys remember that one mother who broke out of her handcuffs, scaled a fence, ran inside the school where there was an active shooter, and came out with her kids while all the Uvalde police officers cowered behind corners? I think about her often… she’s my Roman Empire.

I was thinking of that old joke... love is swallowing, true love is gurgling... or something like that.

ETA: I think I was thinking of gargling lol. D'oh.
