Seems like I saw 3 white males fail to spot and take out the shooter even though he was on the closest roof to the precious. If we are going to armchair QB this thing with an eye for demographics (we shouldn't but lets say we did) then I think we need to look more into something other than white dudes. I mean, that would be what the days events suggest. Inconsequential holster fumbling is nothing compared to not seeing the kid with a rifle front and center in your window of possible threats.

Someone pointed out years ago that Trump doesn't laugh. I've been checking since then and I haven't seen a laugh. He smiles, smugly, superciliously, but I've never spotted an actual laugh come out of him.

Seems very likely Biden would have been the target if he was giving a rally in that location instead.

Searching for Garland supports my theory I came in here to share with you deserving folks. My guess is the kid was a rightwinger who fell down one of the rightwing echo chambers, perhaps into anti-Semitism. At some point he realized Trump is non ideological and not a true believer, that Trump was not anti-Semitic but in fact pro Zionist. He became disillusioned with Trump who he came to see as a Zionist tool and as leading America deeper down the path of moral degradation.

They say he wore hunting clothes to school every day. No Leftist does that. They say he had no friends. Leftists always have at least a few friends. They are saying he didn't leave anything on social media indicating his motive or indicating a political orientation. This is the key to understanding there is no way he was a Leftist. All Leftists like to do is argue their little opinions and show everyone how smart they are. They want to feel intellectually righteous. This is the psychology of the Left, making mommy and daddy proud by writing an insightful book report. If there ever was a Leftist shooter they would leave behind tomes of political babble to sort through on every viable platform.

This fetishism of intellectualism and books on the Left also ties into another argument against shooter being Left which is that the Left does not and cannot take any effective action towards a political goal. The Leftist can write about how Dewey's theory of education prescribed a method of enacting institutional Leninism organically but they can't like physically oppose their enemies, not even in their imaginings. The fact that political violence occurred automatically suggests the Right. They are the ones who do that now.

Side note: How lucky are we who grew up before a time when 20 year-olds were hate searching federal AGs? The mission I gave myself at 20 was to act like whiskey wasn't burning the **** out of my throat when it was.

There is a big difference between a liberal and a Leftist. My sense from the commentary I've seen is that most people assume he was Trump's enemy from the other side of the isle as those are the ones who hate Trump most vehemently, many sincerely believing he will end our so called democracy. I'm using a Bayesian approach and saying if all we know is that there was a political assassination attempt against political party X and we don't know the shooter's motivation, then the chances are it was a rightwinger.

This isn't much of a conspiracy. Blackrock issued a statement saying that it was pulling the ad for obvious reasons.

Everyone who becomes famous did stuff before they were famous. The chances of them having done the stuff they did are 100%.

If we're talking chances I would like a reasonable estimate on how often a sniper misses a shot because the target moves at exactly the right time. Like, are we talking AA losing to KK on an A22 flop here?
