on the turn he could only have me beat. I had him exactly pegged. So we were chopping at worse in my play.

Flop i prefer to check, on turn why jam? Any reads?
He can still have AK, A2s, 22 and XXcc. Even if you put him on a hand that is AQ-A3, he can still have a hand like AQ with Qc which has a lot of equity against you.

I had to trust my read. I had him with the better ACES.
Do i Defend through then?
Check flop--not getting 3 streets and no need to deny equity.
Call turn, if we raise we want blockers to villain's calling range.
