Budapest, Hungary
Figured enough US refugees had made their way out here (8 and counting) that a meetup group was in order. There's also an already established community of Hungarian-born poker players that it would be nice to include. I was thinking that we could arrange a meetup 1-2x a month where we go out have a nice big dinner and then hit some bars/clubs. If you're interested post in this thread and I will do the rest of the work. For the sake of getting things started, let's say our first meetup will be March 21st.

Rake is 10% uncapped at Duna poker room.
...and the meaning of this picture was...? I believe a majority of poker players can calculate 10% out of any given number😂
In response to the post# 100. :p
Your chart is wrong, the rake there is 10% uncapped. I took that picture back in July 2024 when visiting Budapest. What's your issue with the picture anyway? It's just a proof.

That is not proof of anything. If you read my post, you would know that the cap is 12000. That is 10% of 120000 so your picture does not go that far.
Rake has been reduced:
100/100 -> 7%, 10K cap
100/200 -> 5%, 10K cap
500/500 -> 3%, 10K cap
PLO 500/500 -> 3%, 8K cap
To put things in perspective, at today's exchange rate of 1USD=370HUF.
(Based on above update by Dontwantto)
c0.27/c0.27 -> 7%, $27 cap
c0.27/c0.54 -> 5%, $27 cap
$1.35/$1.35 -> 3%, $27 cap
PLO $1.35/$1.35 -> 3%, $21.62 cap

This is correct. And the only reason for even this "discount" was that there is a new poker room in town, Mirage Poker.
