We were wondering if 2p2 ever got sold. I’m honestly amazed it’s still up.

We are doing great! We had to put my namesake down a few years ago, but penny is still kicking around. She’s 14 now!

I probably won’t put too many details up about our lives, but we’re really doing well <3

Im sorry Gizmo is gone. 2 out of 3 of these are my dogs, one is visting:

Yeah, ill just post some stuff about what happened like info wise.

Part 1 of 2
1.) fortunate high stakes drivers license hearing:

So first off, I was more or less in hiding for about 14 months. I was arrested on dui charges and you can actually get in a great deal of trouble on dui charges, although no one was hurt. My legal team that my fam got me worked with the prosecuter to craft a diversion agreement. This diversion agreement included things like donating to MADD,absolutely no drinking, going to meetings, monthly drug tests, etc in agreement not to be charged. It was really a pain. I also had to go to the doctors about a medical issue which turned out ok. So every day was like alcohol meeting, talk to lawyer, talk to diversion officer, talk to doctors, no leaving kansas or partying of any kind. I was well on my way to completing my agreement when I was pulled over for another DUI charge.
Due to the language of my Diversion agreement with the government, this set up a high stakes drivers license hearing. Typically, the drivers license hearing is seperate from the court case in regards to duis, however due to my agreement basically I would be charged with two crimes, my diversion agreement would be broke and I would be going to jail. Fortunately , at said hearing my attorny was able to win said hearing on a technicality when finally the police officer admitted he did not hand me certain papers at the police station in the correct order because he was distracted by my unusual answers to his questions. So, I completed my diversion agreement in perfect standing, I was free and have no criminal record or anything. But this took a year.People would call me and be like are you going to come and do such and such, and I would say no im not allowed to leave kansas or no im not allowed to go to the bar(!) for that entire time. So with all those issues resolved , including the medical issues and a completed time in rehab, I suddenly had way more freedom and moved on. I spent a lot of time in NYC.

not right this minute, I have to do something. Some sort of post with info I will type about an hour from now.

bryce, would you say that you had a drinking problem or these were minor technicality duis like you had 2 drinks at lunch and then drove home

All who wander are not lost. Its an old saying that often applies to me. People often underestimate others on base pattern levels( level 2 thinking). Just because someone answers their favorite work of William Shakespeare is romeo and juliet because its a “killer love story” does not automatically mean that they haven’t read a lot of shakespeare. Just because someone eats a barebones meal at a mcdonalds at a small town in kansas once every other day, (because they dont want to be associate with any place that sells alcohol), does not mean they do not have a sophisticated pallette or many hyper intelligent friends in NYC.

NYC is a big place, and weed and alcohol and 5 star restuarants abound. I stayed primarily at my cousins place in Nassau county but also stayed at some high rises in soho where I formed a delusional business plan. I spent many days discussing my business ideas with some important people there and learning about media and graphic design and also partying and bumming around central park. I had free time without alcohol to learn combinatorics and some basic python. I incorporated a business in NYC with the help of one of my cousins. At my most manic I often complained about how my album was going badly. This was a cause of concern for some primarily because there was no album.

On the bright side my friends and I are growing up. I went to many many weddings. Five years ago none of my close friends were married now they all are and Im surrounded by literal babies. I do t want to show pictures from most of these weddings and meetings but heres some pictures I took:

In short I came back home and am studying graphic design at a university. I cant show my good artwork since its on social media but here are some random things I made when I was relearning how to draw.

I am also datibg a guy in leawood who goes to same school. I want to point out that graphic design isnt the same thing as art; its about visual communication and at the intersection of art and psychology. There are details you learn that dont rely on raw artistic talent. For example I have been very inspired by a typography class I took. So thats what Ive been doing. All my close friends are doing amazing!

I would say I seem to recall being pulled over and having criminal charges dismissed. I Now work at somewhere between technology, gambling, and art and have experience running a media company in NYC.

sweet. thanks for sharing

well i'm happy that's not a trend and it's behind you, sure most of us here (myself included) have all lost people to drunk drivers

I didn’t quite all the posts, but I read them all.

Wow, Bryce, it seems like you’ve grown up

I’m sorry about the legal issue and the health issue. Hopefully you never drink and drive again. I wish I could have been a fly on the wall to hear your off the wall answers to the cop.

Hopefully the health stuff is still good.

I had my own health things (sinus surgery, then complications). I’ve had 3 surgeries since 2022.

I’ve still never been to NYC. Maybe one day?

How long were you there? Will you go back?

Thanks for reading them. I am a more mature person than I was. Think instead of a 12 year old in his 20’s a 20 something in his 30’s.

He was a young cop who did not follow proper procedure according to state law in that instance. The conversation is in legal documents. I cant say the actual conversation but when it started, he looked at my drivers license and asked me if it had the correct address. To which I paused for about 5 seconds, looked at my drivers license and then back at him and then said “no” .

If you read my post carefully i am saying what happened, but technically I dont need to admit I ever drove drunk but certainly seeing the consequences of DUI’s firsthand had a huge effect on me and I was moved by my meetings with victims of drunk driving. I also rarely drink or consume anything else now. I am extra cautious about that now. I dont have a single beer and drive now , ever.

I was there for several months and then on and off again. Ive never made it clear because Im not someone who tries to act “smart” but I have a lot of family in NYC. Most of the core group of my family and friends moved from brooklyn to nassau and suffolk county, ie suburbs and our getting married and having kids but I spend a lot of time there . I have a number of absolutely crazy stories from NYC that I never told you about. I will def be back. My situation of living in the kc suburbs and hanging out in NYC is quite pleasant.

I will tell you about the medical issue some other time. Mostly I just wanted you to read it tbh. glad you and lk are doing good.

sounds like you did a lot of growing up real quick bryce. proud of you on learning some important lessons and enjoying some time in nyc. really enjoyed reading those posts man.

Bryce is nice
Like skates on ice
I'll say it twice
He does suffice

And in the night
He holds me tight

Middle aged man
With the mind of a child

Wouldn't stop a genocide in a hypothetical
A position which strikes me as wild
