I'm not sure I'm ever getting off of string here.
This would be such an oddly confusing clue for back/button.
Both are oddly confusing imo. If I had button/string, my first thought would be "sewing" or something. So because I have heard of a backraise and not a string raise, that is my lean.
I gotta agree with the rewind thing too
Idk tho, the sewing seems easier to find/maybe he was concerned something like mail could hit rewind.
We know backraise is a thing while string bet is definitely and string raise probably is but less sure?

All the clues so far have been kinda unexpected, so I think we just have to disregard other possible clues and go with the word it hits best, which imo is back.
We've also been sitting on this for a while so we should make a decision soon.
