Women's softball opens the games in roughly 5hrs with soccer/football, archery and some other sports starting before the opening ceremony Friday night Japan time.
PREDICTIONS: Rona causes a stupid amount of issues, I still waste approx 100hrs of coverage anyway.

Max Litchfield is a swimmer in the 400m medley. thats where you have to do all sorts of different wacky splashing manoeuvres throughout the race

Part of me wants USA Basketball to win Gold as I’m an American.
The other part of me wants them to fail as it would be hilarious.
I had no idea that watching women with small tits hit a shuttlecock could be so intriguing.

Badminton is surprisingly fun to watch.
You're right that volleyball is definitely more my thing. Long legs and small bewbs! I also played in college. I wasn't very good.
Just like in Tokyo, Skateboarding is already the most fun discipline and the men* have yet to start

I liked it last Olympics better though. last time everyone had such a great vibe. the American girl had that vibe this time, big time. she was having a blast!

Yeah those Tokyo rooftop vibes were amazing, this time with so many fans it's cool too. Bit more competitive (Japanese girl who barely missed out on the win was very sad), but they still seem very casual and friendly compared to most other sports.
Everybody can say they don't wanna win because their opponents have an offday, that good competition makes the win sweet etc, but from (most of) these guys I'd actually believe it
