I might vote on downballot stuff, and in that case, I might make a POTUS vote since I'll be there anyway. Maybe I'd vote for Cornel West. I don't love brother Cornel, but he doesn't want to fund any genocides, so there's a plus. Again, none of this matters in the slightest.
Obama carried FL in both of his presidential bids. I think it's a little much to write off FL as red forever, but if that is what helps you justify not voting for POTUS, then w/e.

Most current FL poll of which I'm aware (with Harris and the minor candidates) has Trump up 8.
There are a couple big amendment polls for FL during this election on abortion and full marijuana legislation. I'll keep an eye on them.

I think you may have mentioned that you live in Tampa in the past. If the local elections there are anything like they are in my neck of the woods in Orlando, there is plenty of drama and more than enough reason to go to the polls, even without the POTUS election 😀

Given her words and actions the last 3 years when she was Vice President I would say the bolded. I still get confused when right wingers attack her from the left based on actions from decades ago, when she has a large, recent body of policy work indicating a very soft on crime mentality.

Trump is convicted criminal who during his presidency pardoned his political accomplices for crimes they were convicted of. He is obviously not "hard on crime" and nor is anyone who votes for him.

The two aren't mutually exclusive. One can be hard on crime, yet corrupt and nepotistic and support criminal allies and family.
This is kind of how most autocratic nations work.
