Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan

Who is the favorite in our our league? If Daniels hits, I'll be pretty good I think.

Tough to say! I think the league is pretty balanced. Definitely bullish on Daniels.

I think New Pollard Express look strong. Balance too if AR does well.

How has playing dynasty affected how you approach redraft and even best ball? I've only played dynasty one year, but for me it's funny to see redrafters with all their endless hype trains over players that have no shot.

I'd say the biggest difference is having a way larger knowledge grasp of the rookies, who are generally underrated in both redraft and even best ball. Although best ball is starting to come around, at least on Underdog. DraftKings is probably still behind more than Underdog, at least after MHJ and Nabers. The top rookie WRs have been steamed this season. We'll see if it's sticky, since this rookie WR class is perceived to be really strong with a bunch of good landing spots.

Dynasty also helps you stay forward thinking, which translates to both redraft and best ball. One thing I hear a lot of the sharper best ball players say is this guy could be going rounds higher than this next season, meaning they're probably undervalued at current costs. If those players are being drafted higher the following year, that means they had a good season at a good value. Those are the kinds of players you want to be in on. In dynasty, you generally want players on your roster who will either hold value or increase in value.

Dynasty meshes player age and future projection with current production, but it really helps you understand that on a whole, the younger talented players are the ones who you should typically be betting on. It also helps you move off of likely bad players more quickly. I.e., WRs who have bad rookie or second year seasons.

Misclicked on DK, but it worked out.

QB - Dak, Geno, Levis

RB - R. White, Robinson Jr. Chubb, Roschon, Mattison, Sanderrs

WR - AJB, Adams, DK, Flowers, Odunze, Gabe, Boyd, Turpin

TE - Ferguson, Schultz, Fant

Almost an amazing team, but kept getting sniped on qbs and bring backs. Still think it’s solid

Qb - Burrow, Levis, JJ

Rb - Kamara, C Brown, Spears, Charb, Chandler, Wright

Wr - JJ, Deebo, DK, Cooper, Higgins, Boyd, E Moore (someone sniped me on iosivas…😉

Te - Pitts, Henry

don't forget to send him a thank you note when you win all the $$

What a prick

What a prick

Just got sniped on hurts in the 4th with AJB (which never happens). This is for sure Karma for skipping the hour long airport line just now

Lol, you're getting hit hard on the snipes.

Speaking of sniping, if any of you are in a room with me, do not plan on drafting Jalen McMillan. I will take him ahead of ADP.

My favorite late rd pick right now

I've been smashing. I think the highest I've taken him is the 14/15 turn with Baker.

He was my highest exposure receiver in the pre-draft contests too at 17%.

Nice , I’m only at 11, but probably gonna make more effort to bring him up to 16

I'm 11.7% but much smaller sample size than you guy's.

What a prick

I prefer to draft Allen when he falls more to the middle of the 4th. This gives me a better chance to also get Kincaid.

I don't know if I've seen Kincaid fall as far as he did in your draft.

Good for Underdog.

Which players do you have low exposure to that makes you nervous?

I feel great about my TE exposures.

I'm terrified about my Kyren, Barkley, Taylor exposures. The big list of RB's is mostly a result of going zero RB.

I'll probably get some more Aiyuk but I've never understood why he was going early to mid second. I'll take him late second or early third where he belongs. He's the one guy I feel ok about but realize I do need more.

My lack of Burrow is due to rarely having the number 4 pick and not loving T Higgins.

QB) Burrow 3.3%
Stroud 4.2%
Allen 5.0%
Lamar 5.8%

RB) R White 1.7%
Z White 2.5%
Etienne 3.3%
Cook 4.2%
Kyren 4.2%
Barkley 5.0%
Taylor 5.0%

WR) Downs 3.3%
Aiyuk 3.3%
Diggs 3,3%

Mine are the top RBs. I have way less Breece, Achane, Kyren, JT etc than I’m comfortable with

I have less ARSB 5% than I’d like but that’s a product of taking Chase and Jefferson over him 100% of the time and those guys falling to 6 occasionally

At te, I wish I had more Njoku 1% I guess, but hard for me to grab him given I’m always getting top 8 te

Qb the ones are Dak 2%, Tlaw 6%, Mahomes 5%, and kyler 5%

But Mahomes I’ll get more of now that I’m pulling him up in the 4th

These are my 20% or higher guys. With the exception of Waddle and Jonnu I'll probably back off the rest.

Jaylen Waddle
Chris Godwin
Tony Pollard
Javonte Williams
Ezekiel Elliott
Jerry Jeudy
Gabe Davis
Deshaun Watson
Jonnu Smith
Malik Washington

Good list. Only one I’d be nervous about being that high over on is Malik, but I get why you are

At first it was a Phins thing, but then it was because of all the good things people were saying in camp and practice. I'd still like to spread it out a bit more though at this point.

The one guy I need to really up my exposure on is Rachaad.

Me too. He's going right in that area where I still like WR's or maybe Kittle. He's probably gonna do close to what he did last year. I don't think Irving is gonna be much competition. I usually prefer to wait a round or two and get an RB with league winning upside like Warren or Brooks. I'll try to up my shares when I go zero RB for the first 5 picks.

Any word on a new Puppy like contest on UD?

BBM pick 6

Would taking Caleb to go with Kyler and Burrow be too much? I passed and took Javonte as my third RB in round 10. I think I would have passed again on Caleb in round 11 if the DJ Moore guy didn't take him which he did. I figure pushing him to 12 would make sense since he would be an unstacked pick for the others plus I already had two studs.

It was ugly after Herbert RB wise so I took him. Is this too much Bear exposure?

I was hoping to get Losivas but he went early 17.

I bought the dip on Franklin. Things have gone better the last few days. It sounds like he is taking the "hard coaching" well. He went 20 spots past ADP

QB) Kyler, Burrow

RB) Kyren, Pollard, Javonte, Zeke, Herbert

WR) Chase, Samuel, Allen, Odunze, G Davis, J Burton, M Wilson, T Franklin

TE) Mcbride, Jonnu, Dulcich

Not sure on any new contests releasing. The lobby is pretty full right now. But I’m guessing we’ll get something new soon.

I like that team. Javonte does a lot more than Caleb would have. Same with Zeke. Taking Caleb at his cost just seems like diminishing returns already having Kyler and Burrow.

Not too many Bears, imo, even without Caleb.

Just read that Vidal isn’t a lock to make the Chargers roster .

I’m starting to really like Dobbins at his price .
