Venetian poker room changeup

Venetian poker room changeup

Per a poker news article that just dropped, it sounds like a 50 table room with modern electronic equipped tables will be opening this summer on level 2. Will also have a dedicated room for streaming and vlogging.

Glad to see a casino expanding and upgrading their poker room in Vegas, especially after the Venetian has kept shrinking theirs every few years.

$3 an hour comps instead of $1 an hour? I’m shocked.

Interesting the 2/4 NL will change to 2/3 NL.

Wow. No promo drop for 3/5? Awesome!

this is so YAWN...

A lot of places were at $1.50-$2.00/hour going into the pandemic.

That never changed, they all still are.

It’s been like that for about 10 years. Venetian even lowered the comps back to $1 an hour by then. I’m surprised they of all places would go from $1 to $3.

What does ATF mean?

Above the Felt meet up game, they are involved in this tonight.

I'd be thrilled for the Venetian to climb back up to having the best poker room in LV for all types of poker players (if u didn't play there in the early 2010's, stfu. your opinion is worthless).

I do appreciate the updates.

They didn't let him play did they? lol

I think the room looks great. Still not thrilled about the location, but one nice thing about it is it’s more quiet. You don’t hear the loud slots and other loud noises players typically hear in a casino.

There are restrooms in the back and they are much bigger than the tiny restrooms in the Wynn poker room.

My lower back was not a fan of the chairs that you can lean back quite a bit in. But maybe that’s just me.

Using Poker Atlas is so much better than calling a room and hoping they aren’t too busy to pick up the phone, hoping they can hear you in a loud casino, etc. I wish Bellagio and Aria would do the same.

Will be interesting to see if they can run many games besides 1-3.

I have NO DESIRE to go there...

You do realize that Bravo allows off site wait listing?

The app allows it but only a few rooms have the ability to use it. South Point, Horseshoe and 1 or 2 others.

Every room has the ability to use it. Most choose not to pay for it.

So they would have to choose to use it in PA also. Iow, if they are not using that feature today under Bravo, what makes you think they will choose to use it under PA?
ETA
All of the CET rooms use the wait list feature in Bravo, including all in LV. No MGM room in the US does do AFAIK. The majority of the strip rooms that directly compete with Venetian already have remote wait list or are MGM.

Since nowhere in US does MGM currently use remote waitlist while they have access, and they are most of the strip rooms wo waitlist, what makes you believe they would use it under PA?

If you are talking about being able to sign up on the list from the app, I have never seen any Poker Atlas room not use that, but few Bravo rooms use that.

Checked the new room out this morning. It's really nice, it was like an ice box though, maybe because it was early and only a few tables going.

It took a while to figure out the fancy $$$$ Coffee, Expresso, Tea, Hot Chocolate machine, but I finally was able to get a regular coffee (Cafe Americano) it was really good.

I see what you mean Steve, about the lean back chairs, only played a short time so will see if it's bad another time.

Parking is awesome at Palazzo and the elevator takes you right up to the shops just steps away from the poker room.

There is a good pic of the self serve drink section.

Meh, I played there then. It wasn't best, but it was better than average.

Maybe that atlas feature is cheaper than Bravo.

Parking is awesome at Palazzo and the elevator takes you right

The parking garage is weird to me, like in a murder movie. I liked the Venetian garage muche better when they had the reserved area for poker players. That might have been because I had the parking pass though.

Beer fridge too?

Now that you posted the pic, Diesel will prob be raiding the condiments.
