2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
I only have 2% Dhop right now
I’m at 10%. I wonder what a good new price is. I’d like him very much in the 8th on UD. Probably 9th or 10th on DK since it’s not as WR heavy.
Around 5% on Ridley.
I have 16% on ud and way more on dk
He was my top value on the board
I have 41% Ridley 10% Hopkins
QB - Love, Baker, Fields
RB - Bijan, Saquon, AJ, Wright, Pierce, CEH
WR - DJM, Pittman, Higgins, JSN, Doubs, Chark, Reynolds, Burks
TE - Schultz, Muth, Otton
Ridley is my only full fade (consciously at least). I’ve had 2 times where he was way past ADP and I would’ve taken him but got sniped
Anybody doing the Flock draft on UD. Strange format with 1/12 1/2 1/2
I’ll probably fire the 3 entries with slows. 2% ev of making the finals for a chance at $10k. Seems pretty good.
Got one of my first fields teams
Qb - Jayden, Kirk, Fields
Rb - Najee, Conner, Javonte, Ekeler, Allgeier
Wr - MHJ, London, Dell, Rice, Worthy, Dotson, R Wilson, LMC
Te - McBride, otton
Flock pick 10. This thing is already over 50% filled.
I took a gamble on a falling Vidal. I figured my first four RB's were strong enough to withstand it. How far is he going in your drafts. I still like the talent and the path is there for him.
QB) Richardson, Watson
RB) Gibbs, Warren , Singletary, C Brown, Vidal
WR) Puka, Tank, Amari, Jameson, Downs, Bateman, Mcmillan, Losivas
TE) Kittle, Muth, Dulcich
Akers caught a TD, but didn't really go much else. Still a fade.
Khalil only rushed 4x but looked damn good.
What the Flock was that? It's over already and I only got in two.
I didn't intend on going 3 QB but Stafford fell almost 3 rounds and I had stacking partners.
My RB's are thin after Achane. Maybe going CMC/Achane won't be as chalky as other bigger contests.
I kind of like my WR room even though I went other positions early.
Pick 1
QB) Kyler, Jayden, Stafford
RB) CMC, Achane, Corum, Jaleel, Tyrone
WR) Kupp, Terry, Ladd, Sutton, Polk, Dotson, M Wilson, Corley
TE) Mcbride, Gesicki
I may just go 100% Fields in builds where I draft Pickens, Muth, or a KC player w/o Mahomes.
QB - Kyler, Tua, Fields
RB - Gibbs, Moss, Allgeier, Gibson, Dillon, Laube
WR - Nico, Aiyuk, Flowers, Ridley, Palmer, Wicks, Zay, Malik
TE - Mcbride, Muth, Jonnu
Why is Deandre swift ranked so low? He’s the 19-23rd ranked rb on the rankings I’ve seen. I know there is injury risk but that seems crazy. What am I missing?
I agree with you, Swift is one of my highest owned RBs
1. He’s not good at football.
2. He’s a 25 year old who is on his third team since being highly drafted, which is generally a bad bet.
3. Chicago is likely to be a 3 man committee.
4. He’s not a big red zone threat, so TD upside is limited.
5. His best skill is pass catching and there is a **** ton of target competition on this team.
6. He’s not good at football.
But as long as he’s the starter he should be ranked higher than 21st or whatever he is (even if he’s bad at football). Surely they didn’t lay him that contract to be part of a three headed committee. If so, that’s the dumbest signing of the offseason.
I get him not being top 10 or something. But being ranked 21st when he should clearly get the majority of carries seems crazy.
I think rb21 isn’t unreasonable, he’s being drafted as the rb26 though (albeit a flat tier)
I have him on par with my favorite picks in that range, Najee, Warren, and brooks, which is why I have him so much
I don’t see much difference between him and Kamara though (rb18)

They very well could have laid him that contract to be a part of a three headed committee. I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir, but what the coaches find valuable isn't always what we find valuable, especially for fantasy purposes. The Bears had by far the most cap room available heading into this offseason, so I think they viewed Swift as more of a luxury than anything. They signaled last night he is the clear top back in the offense, but what does that really mean?
Hear it from Eberflus.
-weapon out of the backfield.
-focused primarily on third down.
-added in even on second and first down, as if it's just a throw in idea.
-Swift is not very good at pass protection, which also limits his third down viability.
-game planning based on backfield skill set which dictates direction. that sounds very committee-like.
-this quote is not specific to Swift, since it was near the end of last season. But Eberflus has no issue riding the hot hand or letting the game flow dictate who is getting the work, which follows along the lines of Waldron in the quote above.

Kamara isn't exactly exciting, nor is he the same player as he once was. But projected usage puts him a few tiers above Swift, imo.
-Kamara has way less backfield competition, especially with the Kendre injury.
-Kamara could easily be the second target leader on his team.
-Kamara is very likely to get the red zone and goal line work.
Kamara could very well also just be completely done. He dropped off a lot last year.
I have some Kamara as well, it’s not like I’m fading, but there’s a reason ppl were so excited about kendre
Also, the bears project to be a much better offense, having the rb on a better offense is valuable
