Do they still use the double bet on 4th on paired board rule in stud high tournaments?
I watched the entire $10K stud final table video from the 2024 WSOP. I didn't see anyone ever double bet on 4th. That rule seems archaic and is only appropriate for very loose games. It leads to a lot of hands ending on 4th street.

No. The double bet is no longer allowed
just in tournaments, just at the WSOP, or in all stud high?
The rule has changed in all tournaments strictly following TDA rules. I am curious if any cash stud games have changed as well; is there anyone here who actually plays regularly in a stud high game, or a mixed game including stud?
