English Premier League 2024-25
2024-2025 EPL Preview
Man City have set another record with 115 charges of financial shenanigans and also managed to win
lol luton
Easy mode engaged.
This was supposed to be one of the toughest games of the season.
Garth Crooks has passed on the BBC team of the week baton to Troy Deeney. Should be a fairly smooth transition of clueless muppetry.
Anything is better than Crooks
Howard Webb upping the ante to live apologies this season.
That account is going to get trolled so hard.
Going to be real clear when they have a **** up as the 'near live' update will take 20mins while they sort out the story.
I don't dislike AWB but a seven year deal seems a tad excessive
Cole Palmer now on a 9 year contract.
I can only assume Bendy Bully is going to try to get most of his long term contract players into some kind of deferred wages agreement to get them off the bottom line.

I don’t understand the point in dishing out the obscenely long term deals if you still have to restructure constantly to give the few actual good ones pay raises anyway.
if the saudis are gonna pay heavy 9/10 figure release clause for vini, you better ****ing believe i'm gonna lock up cole palmer for 125 a week lmao
Opinions on this round of United lacks scouts/manager gets too much sway?
I personally think these two players should (easily) be good enough too, but I have admittedly not seen much Bayern (none domestically).
Last game of UTD their central defence duo was Maguire & Evans.
De Ligt is by far better than both of them albeit sometimes a bit wild.
Mazraoui I understand a bit less. I thought Dalot was one of the few players of UTD last year that did well. And they both play right full-back. But he didnt cost much so might be good stand-in for Dalot.

If Palmer or any of the other long term contract guys become top level, they aren't going to happily play out the 9 years on middle of the road wages. The number of years won't matter, when they want a move for more money or to a contender, they will get it or they down tools.

kane got underpaid all his career because of a long term deal he signed just before becoming great iirc

16. Fulham
17. Forest
18. Ipswich
19. Southampton
20. Leicester
Anyone want any action on x to finish above y etc?
I would take Arsenal/Pool above City, but only if the bet still stands in case of a City point deduction event.
By the sounds of it they will close the case soon, doubt the punishment would be too harsh, but a few dozen points would prolly mean those two to finish above them.
No point deduction would most likely mean you won the bet.
Yeah I should've put an asterisk *if no points deduction* next to City lol
Cmon live a little.
But fairs, I would not risk it either lol
I would also expect Chelsea to finish higher like top6, but they are doing so many random things in the market again so I just dont know
team most likely to make a jump: west ham
player most likely to make a jump: garnacho
young player that will make a rise and a big team will overpay for in a year or two: minteh
team that will fall off a bit: liverpool
player that will fall off a bit: palmer (i hate to say that)
top 4: arsenal, city, spurs, united
relegated: leicester, forest, southampton
Also getting up to the 80 mark on the road to 92 tonight, clearing the lowest hanging fruit before clearing Bromley later this month to get to 81
