Trooper97 vlogs, discussions etc. will be allowed to continue in the new thread. That thread will not be unchained and I will work with the other LVL mods to keep it civil.
I personally am not going to allow a lot of the horrible posting that went on in the original thread to take place and I will be very generous with post deletions and bans if needed.
Posts the are overly derogatory, mean spirited, name calling (including using rude derivatives of names) , and demeaning posts towards any of the vloggers or posters in the thread will be deleted at the mods discretion. If any accounts persistently do this they will be banned or exiled from posting in this thread. In these cases we may issue a warning first.
Accounts that are used only to or substantially to troll post in this thread will be banned.
No personal family information or situations allowed in the thread.

OK Vlogger Thread, we are going with some new parameters to try to make this the POSITIVE vlogger thread that it is supposed to be, not the AIDS vlogger thread where a few loonies ruin it for the rest. Note that 'positive' does not equal 'only positive', it means anything negative being said CAN'T be namecalling or wild, unsubstantiated speculation regarding any and all vloggers. I think we see the bright line demarcating between ELD's generation and Pman's generation in American family financial ideaology. The ELD generation and older, parents kicked their children out at 18 some even younger at 16 years old and left to fend for themselves. These people had to get grades in school and sports awards were only given for first place. In Pman's generation, schools only gave pass/fail report cards, parents have a lifelong financial responsibility for housing for their children, everyone who looses in sports gets a participation trophy.
Think I was unclear, Diesel will never be homeless, he has his parents and all that sweet dividend money. I’m saying he pushes all his junk around like a homeless person and if he got any more junk he would need to have a shopping cart to move it. Less a comment on his housing status, more on his mental state that he needs to schlep around all this useless stuff because he’s mentally unwell.
Speaking of dividend portfolios, anybody think ELD is invested in Icahn Enterprises? They have a dividend payout of 23%. However, this one comes with a risk as it crashed over a year ago. In my opinion, this is not a good one for ELD as he will freak out over the variance.

I met Carl Icahn many years ago at his Mt. Kisco house. At the time he owned TWA, which was tanking in value and needed a deal related to his control group liability for pension funding .
Why he is shedding cash at a 23% rate, who knows ? However, if anyone is thinking of climbing on a dividend gravy boat, they better look at what's driving this cash flood.

Not that there's anything wrong with that but no one that has invested their money would think 4% interest on $100,000 would give you $4,000 a month.

I’d love to know why he clings to those old brand names and refuses to change. Is it because he thinks it makes him seem cool or hip? Is it just to be a smart a.. and troll everyone?
Costco used to have a battery loophole to get a new battery every three years and the warranty would restart each time a battery was exchanged receipt but they just closed this battery loophole in early 2024. When I exchanged my battery one last time I thought that ELD would be proud of the battery hack.
