Got eagles vote in. Going to my trusted source, my brain. I can't see how they lose. Everything you could want on offense, good pass rush, even drafted more help secondary. My mind tells me perfection. Some college football undefeated, big run ups in scores. Easy breezy. Do not like coach, seems weird, but the players have had ups and downs together. They know what do each sunday now. Cowboys are capable of messing up a shiny record, but really my past record in trying to predict things is my greatest doubt. Eagles are a sure thing.

Eagles definitely a sure thing to win NFC East. It's apparently impossible to win it 2 years in a row, so it's their turn since the Giants or Wash don't have a chance.
The Eagles really upgraded the secondary. Somehow are fine with Reddick leaving. Gained at RB.
They lost some at DL and OL, but Howie accounted for that.
I'm not sure how Sirianni is still the coach, but hopefully the new coordinators are better.
PHI is a good contrarian bet to miss the playoffs this season
keep in mind they outscored their opponents by only five points last season
Bill Barnwell does a column every year in which he ranks the previous year's 14 playoff teams by likelihood to make the playoffs again and PHI is ranked ninth on his list

And what were the reasons? The defense is likely going to be much better.
Apparently I can't edit my post....
"I still lean toward thinking the Eagles are a playoff team"
4th on the list of NFC teams?
- their 5 point point differential is typically the mark of a 0.500 team
- they were one of four teams on his 2023 list to likely decline
- They went 7-1 in one-score games during that 11-game start to the season, eventually finishing 7-3 in close contests. They did that against a below-average schedule, per the FTN Football Almanac, and with the best special teams DVOA of any team.
- The *new* coordinators didn't exactly put up great seasons a year ago with talent in Los Angeles and Miami. Jason Kelce and Fletcher Cox retired, and the offensive and defensive lines are relying more on young, unproven talent than they have over the past couple of years. White was benched in Tampa last season. Barkley struggled to stay healthy for the Giants. Gardner-Johnson is already banged up.

now me talking...
WAS should be better
NYG w a healthy Jones and Nabers should be better
DAL (if they sign CD) are still nasty
i see PHI finishing 9-8
