Las Vegas Poker Player Vlogs
Gobbo other Thread got closed by the mod said it doesn't belong in the House of Blogs, hoping we can have this one without Trooper talk.
This thread is to discuss local professional poker players on their journey. Please refrain from mentioning the local youtube celebrity who plays poker.

This now stands for this thread:
Trooper97 vlogs, discussions etc. will be allowed to continue in the new thread. That thread will not be unchained and I will work with the other LVL mods to keep it civil.
I personally am not going to allow a lot of the horrible posting that went on in the original thread to take place and I will be very generous with post deletions and bans if needed.
Posts the are overly derogatory, mean spirited, name calling (including using rude derivatives of names) , and demeaning posts towards any of the vloggers or posters in the thread will be deleted at the mods discretion. If any accounts persistently do this they will be banned or exiled from posting in this thread. In these cases we may issue a warning first.
Accounts that are used only to or substantially to troll post in this thread will be banned.
No personal family information or situations allowed in the thread.
Update April 2018
********************
OK Vlogger Thread, we are going with some new parameters to try to make this the POSITIVE vlogger thread that it is supposed to be, not the AIDS vlogger thread where a few loonies ruin it for the rest. Note that 'positive' does not equal 'only positive', it means anything negative being said CAN'T be namecalling or wild, unsubstantiated speculation regarding any and all vloggers. Personal lives and anything aside from poker is OFF THE TABLE.

A new update March 2019:
NO ****ING POLITICS!
We have TBC on a heater. This guy is the grand daddy of them all in the homeless poker game player category. Dude will never bust.
The whole obsession with numbers, specifically money and personal finances, must be a peculiar manifestation of autism/OCD. Or perhaps it's just a common trait for people who have so little, to count and examine it, and how it's spent, so thoroughly?
TBC and Nomad both seem utterly fascinated with accounting for their daily expenses, down to the very last penny. Nomad in particular likes to do in-depth breakdowns and analysis of every cent that ever passes through his fingertips, but is reluctant to share any information about his bankroll whatsoever.
Meanwhile TBC is only too happy to provide daily updates on his "bankroll" status which is actually his net worth, and also includes funds in online gambling sites and funds invested in crypto (so bankroll isnt really the right word at all) But he also exhibits the same profound fascination as Nomad for micro-accounting every last little expense in his life; be it room rates, uber rides, or even small incidentals at Walmart.

He might state how much he won or lost or how much he spent on his hotel and ubers for the week, but I highly doubt he has and real accounting of where all his money comes from and goes to on a yearly basis.
Like how much did he win just from poker on a monthly/yearly/long term basis vs BJ and whatever else games he plays, and how much he spends on Ubers per year and housing per year, etc.

He doesn't post detailed cost breakdowns like Nomad does. Perhaps he does still do it for his own benefit but doesn't publicize it? But either way, even the fact that he posts all his expenses like hotels, ubers, groceries, walmart etc is bizarre in and of itself... like, literally no one give a toss.
ELD reports Venetian poker room will loose its "newness" in exactly four months and become a low traffic poker room.
We have a new Vegas vlogger - a quite pretty young Aussie lass who plays 5/10 at Wynn. Definitely a promising start.
If ELD would give up his pursuit of becoming an NFL coach he could easily become a high ranking casino executive.
His first action would be to drastically reduce the number of those pesky, money making, low cost slot machines. I mean why does the casino need 500 of them if only 87 were being used that one time Diesel walked the room?
Given the topic/thread so far:
The wurst disease is a little kid. You have it for life.
FYP
I'm coming to Vegas late Oct - early Nov.
I would like to play at the V. Hopefully El D can make a few videos on how to get to the new poker room from all of the different casinos.

Also add a special nomadic tier to the rewards system to allow nomads permanent $8 weekend rooms.

Would hookers be an above-the-line or below-the-line amount?

I think that’s the first Asian I’ve heard speak with an Australian accent. As an American, you don’t see/hear that often.

Will she last 3 months? 6? A year? It's a difficult path to maintain. People start vlogs and are all fired up to vlog weekly until they aren't making any money doing it. At least as a $5/10 player she probably has a bankroll (or sugar daddy) so she won't go broke.
It's a shame the few vloggers who play higher than $2/5 don't get around Vegas much.

I laughed so hard when he said this.
It's one thing to talk about stuff you have some knowledge and experience with even though he's still wrong and won't admit it. It's another to talk about stuff you have no clue about.
It's the reason he is where he's at in life. He can only see things from his perspective so everything he thinks is right and any other view is wrong.
When he gets over 40k is when he starts the full poker martingale/table matching and max betting 3 spots on them good counts vs the big tit computer BJ dealer. That is why he always struggles when he gets to the big sock roll.

She started taking poker seriously at 1/3 a couple years ago and now plays 5/10 and 10/20. El Diesel started at 1/3nl 7 years ago and now plays 1/2. Pman started at 1/3nl 3 years ago and now is busto. Lol
