Las Vegas, Nev. -- Gardner Minshew will open the season as the Las Vegas Raiders' starting quarterback,
coach Antonio Pierce announced Sunday.
Minshew mania is gonna bring back lights and excitement to the Las Vegas Strip.
I heard he could throw a football over them mountains.
Dammit! I couldn't figure out how I missed participating itt at the time. I just scrolled back in my calendar and discovered we were out of town at a concert that was probably booked at least a couple of months in advance. Such a pity!
Who'd have thunk that he could not only hang around the NFL for five years but become a bona fide character?
