The "LOLCANADA" thread...again
So what's new?
I've noticed the Liberals are now ahead in all major polls and Trudeau hasn't even started to campaign yet...i'd be shocked if they lost the election now.
Just shows just how incompetent Conservatives are.
Let me get this right. The "lie" was that I posted a 20 year plot that went up to 2023 because - OBVIOUSLY - 2024 is not done yet and so the plot is not updated? And that if one does look halfway through 2024 the numbers are STILL totally reasonable on that 20 year plot? That is a "lie"????
Get a grip you guys. And do try to keep the denial that trans people exist to the trans thread.
NO you said Justin was doing such a great job on youth employment but left out the last year that makes your claim false

Look at the 20 year chart I posted. He objectively has done a good job, whether or not you wish to include six months of 2024 or not. And remember, high interest rates to fight the global inflation crisis are designed to slightly suppress employment, ideally done with a “soft landing” that for now at least Canada is doing really well at compared to peer countries.
Hey did you guys know after 9 years of Trudeau Canada has the second best foreign direct investment to gdp in the g20??
GREAT JOB TRUDEAU.
I just want you make one actually accurate statement about the TFW program that isn’t just being mad that Indians come to Canada.
Just so you can continue to ignore recent unemployment numbers amongst the youth? Just like you ignore most of reality?
I get it, Trudeau's stance on trans issues is why you feel the need to shove his dick down your throat, but please don't tell fellow Canadians that their wallets, eyes and ears are wrong. You're already doing that when you try to force your ''men can get pregnant'' insanity on us.

Dont worry, the two decade chart I posted will include 2024 when 2024 is done. Obviously. And it will disprove your fearmongering just as convincingly as when it isn’t updated for 2024, only you won’t be able to make up this fantasy story where I was ignoring anything.
Please take your transphobic fantasies to the trans thread and stop polluting every exchange with them.

Unemployment among young people has risen in the past year. From April 2023 to April 2024, the unemployment rate among youth aged 15 to 24 increased 2.9 percentage points to 12.8%. This marked the highest unemployment rate for youth since July 2016, excluding 2020 and 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic.

No.

Hey did you guys know Justin Trudeau in 9 years has accumulated more debt than all the PM's before him totaled and no plans to ever balance a budget as well record exports of CDN coal and US coal

We could check, but that’s probably true of most g7 countries. Thankfully, Canada has among the best debt AND deficit per capita across the g7. So that stat sounds bad (mostly because people don’t understand how exponential growth works), but relatively pretty solid on these measures.
Lol. One of the great of things of (very appropriately) posting the 20 year plot is that when you see an upward blip in the news you can look at the chart and realize Canada is bouncing of historical record lows from the Trudeau era and is comfortable in the historical range. Precisely as one would kind of expect by a labour-supply crunch post pandemic that had the floodgates of TFW open to support our GDP and now it is appropriately tightening again as interest rates to combat inflation put downward pressure on employment. I suppose you could, well, stick your head in the sand and rage at your trudeau and trans people and indian people if you like, but the rest of us are able to make a measured analysis.
You should try it.

Hey guys did you know Trudeau has achieve the highest level ever of economic activity in collards in his 9 years in power 🙄..
I mean when you want to speak without saying meaningful things …
Debts by itself means nothing .
P: why you care so much about coal level grung high when you don’t with oil if you really believe in climate changes ?
You sure Trudeau is the biggest phony abiutcoinate and not you ?
You even blame Trudeau about tariffs on China cars while you complain about China emissions and other issues about employment here ….

Hm no not really . Italy (with various leaders in the last 9 years, from both political sides), accumulated only 30% more debt that the previously accumulated amount till 2015.

Probably because they had a big stagnation between 2010-2020 .
It’s hard to borrow more when the economy don’t go up much ,
vastly underperforming from historical trend .
Canada didn’t had that big stagnation but always was near on trend historically .
Remember a few years ago all the post and memes going around about TFW's aren't stealing jobs and it was just racist.

Still a lot of truth to that. When TFW was expanded post pandemic, there were whole industries absolutely clamoring for jobs with nobody to fill them and few in Canada wanting to do that super low wage work particularly in agriculture. There was record low unemployment. And unfortunately there are a few types that would go on and on about Indians in Canada (despite TFW having Mexicans way out front) nevertheless. True then, true ITT today. Even though with rising interest rates there has been starting to see slight increases in unemployment and I strong case liberals are correct to east back to a healthy but slightly more stringent TFW.
Canadians like UKE still do deny that and all the other problems that come with importing millions of them.
No I don’t. Suppressing wages at the very bottom of the income hierarchy is obviously an outcome. Thats both good and bad, it keeps costs low at the expensive of the wages. It actually cuts against inflation (note Canada’s stellar inflation performance relative to g7).
Like you guys have all the wrong criticisms of TFW. It has real criticisms, but I’ll let you flounder around a bit longer to see if you can figure them out. Hint: it’s not “but more Indians!!”

TFW isn't the only form of immigration. Pretty sure I've mentioned this like 2 or 3 times now. My issues are with Canada's immigration policies as a whole.

it can be good to keep wages of the poors low, says the progressive (???).
I mean that is our take on the libertarian right man, because we don't care about the poors.
you used to pretend to care about them

Ok, so which other program specifically has which specific issue?
Like if all you are bad at is that Indians are coming to Canada I cant help you. If you have specific policy critiques that can survive a half post of policy analysis then maybe there is hope for something more substantive.

Why do you keep saying ''bad at''? At first I thought it was just a typo, but you've done it a few times. Is this a saying I don't know?
