I was watching some review of micro-stakes cash game session and this dude Weazel_1991 advise not having a calling range in the small blinds. Seems like the guys from BluffTheSpots think the same.

What do you think about it ?

Yes, makes the preflop play simpler and apparently doesn't lose any value. Even some (a majority?) very good players at med/high stakes do not flat in SB.


I think there are times when it's ok to flat, a hand I just played for example :

Don't box yourself in to 1 strategy and follow it to the letter. But in general you shouldn't flat from the sb, a smaller raise size and nitty BB makes it better though


I'm generally the aggressor when I play a hand out of the SB, but there are plenty of loose-passive micro games where you can overlimp in the SB.
