Regular Run of the Mill NO LIST Codenames!
Post if you want in, ideally 8 people but the normal game - guess your stuff and ideally go fast bolding away a guess at a time(Snapguess + guess + etc). Spirit of the game is to just bold away at what you think, keep 0-1 max backup and go quick.

Figuring out a word for that 5some wasn’t easy
Thought about alarm for wake, racket, code, point, tube but tube was kinda weak there
Thought about line but lines in tennis for racket and the lines behind the boat for wake are pretty weak
Thought about rail with tube/wake surfing connections and tube subway rail and rails go point to point and Ruby on Rails for coding but meh

We lost the game when I clued Whitaker with King on the board; overlooked last king of Scotland, giving them a word for free
Of course that was a Hail Mary clue in the first place, but I couldn’t figure out how to connect in 2 or even 3

Festival went about as well as I could've hoped. I didn't even have a specific 6 words here...I just gave a number that I thought wouldn't start getting too dangerous if you went a bit off track. (I was expecting swing to be guessed here tho, since jazz/swing festivals are pretty common.)
Not sure what was going on with trumpeter. You all recoginised that it only hit 2 words, but were still trying to force something else to work for some reason? I wanted to clue trumpet, but I didn't want tube or hand getting in the way, so I used trumpeter instead. It was as simple as that.

Bugles are really just military instruments, so I was worried you'd go for cover or tube or something if I clued jazz.
I think when a clue hits only 2 words, you can probably just bold those 2 words and not worry about what other clues could've been used haha.
I'm really surprised how well festival worked. Nice clue. Good game.
