AK facing 5x 3bet pf from LAG
Game 1$/2$
Hero (UTG): 350BB
Vilain (But): 130BB
Hero (UTG) raises 7.5BB. Vilain 3bets to 37.5BB, Hero ?
Notes:
- 3rd hand of Vilain at table. Has played 2 hands and talks a lot to opponents while putting them on decisions.
- Won 1st hand with rivered 2 pairs and maximized value.
- Folded 2nd hand after river raise (B/C, B/C, Donk-bet / Raise / Fold)
My vision: Shove > Fold >>>>>>>>> Call
Reasons: I expect vilain to call with TT+, AQ+ and fold everything else. Yet his 37.5BB is close to 25% of his stack.
What do you guys think? I'm torn between Shove/Folding

He's played 2 prior hands and you're inferring he's a LAG or you've played with him many time and know he's a LAG?
If it's the former, I strongly advise you to read Ed Miller's piece on Bayesian Inference in Playing the Player, which talks exactly about inferring LAGiness in game types where there are few.
If it's the latter and he is genuinely a LAG with a wide 3 bet range that you've obeserved a lot, then it's an easy peasy shove.

In this case it is the former. Never seen him but his table antics did remind me of previous encounters with LAG players. He sure didn't seem clueless at poker and hands he showed were out of place for TAG or nit-type plater. Can't comment on his 3b pattern since it was his first pf raise.
Will look at your article suggestion.
AKs?
I usually don’t like folding AK but you raised utg huge and he raised you huge. I probably find a fold. I don’t think your shove gets through often.
I don't have a lot of experience with opening 7.5x, but I probably fold the offsuit combos for now and sometimes regret it based on how villain plays later in the session.
4B jam.
If you're not sure, take a moment to tank, and see what he does. Maybe he gives up some tell that helps with the decision.
